Good Morning everyone! How are you doing? How many of you are fighting this awful heat like we are? Its suppose to hit triple digits here today! I have only known it to do that ONCE in NC since I was a young tot!! So its going to be HOT! I will be staying inside and staying cool!!

Edie, Marcie, Tina and Shannon, how are you ladies doing?!? How are you doing on the plan so far? The first week is the hardest but do not give up! You are doign the best thing possible for yourself and that is the beginning of a new life for yourself!!


What advice can all our LLer's give the new members of our forum? How do yo uthink they can be a success here with us?!?!?

Its breakfast time so I am off to start my day and catch up on posts!!

My advice is don't stay away from us because you eat stuff you shouldn't or because you gain weight. That's the time you need us the most. We all have problems - we share them here & help each other. We're here to help each other - not to judge each other.

ALSO if you find yourself messing up or slipping off the wagon, IMMEDIATELY get right back OP!! If you don't the longer you wait the harder it will be to get back on!!

I am hanging in there...met with my trainer again yesterday and it went really well. I got on scale and was still up 4.5 lbs.....but...put on a pair of pants that had been tight and GUESS WHAT???? They were loose!! WOOHOOO!! I am still drinking tons of water-I take a gallon with me to work everyday and cannot leave until it is finished. So...I can say I am doing ok. I'd love any advice you ladies have to give!!

With all the workingo ut you are doing, I bet you are indeed losing inches and gaining muscles, that might be why your not actually losing weight. Maybe you should back away from working out so often with your trainer and see if that helps reflect a weigh loss.

morning everyone!

so far so good. i had a glass of wine last night which is probably not op but....

i painted our dinning room yesterday. dh has been going to do it for 1 1/2 so if you want it done do it yourself. i'm painting trim today. it's been cooler here so it good to get this done now.

Good morning everyone! (I guess it is afternoon already for many of you) LOL.

Anyway, I have been doing really well OP this week so far. I am hoping to loose my 2 pounds. I weighed myself this morning and I am STS. So....we will see. I hope I don't stay at this weight for another month like I did 2 pounds ago!!!!

Laurie...well I talked to my trainer about it last night and he said that we are doing light weight and more reps. I work with him 3 times a week and only for about 20 min and then I am on to my cardio. I wonder if my body is in some kind of shock b/c of all this exercise. I am loving it though. My trainer said that there is no way I could have gained muscle weight yet...maybe my body is holding on to some stuff?? Who knows! But I am ok with the scale not moving right now...like I said my pants were loose this morning!! If it takes a little bit..I am ok with that. Everytime I have ever jumped into a workout routine lately..I don't lose for like a month and then I quit...but I am not quitting this go round..no maam...on track for good!!

Thanks for the advice though..I appreciate it!

Hi everyone! Day 2 is almost done (for me, anyway!). I did my 8mm this morning at work before the rest of my coworkers came in, I ate well so far today, drank more water than yesterday -about 60oz so far...I just finished my walk & jog video. Now it is time to take out the trash make some dinner, and get some other work done! The only thing is I'm not all that hungry right now and I am already an hour over due for my meal! Oh well....gotta keep going.
