I would like some one who is around the same age and weightloss goals to buddy up with that I can chat to about all the ups and downs of weight loss!!A little about me Im 33 mom of 3 Im usually on line in the am I currently weigh 180 and would like to lose at least 20 - 30 lbs but i will take twenty!!

Hi Fatgirl and Stacy I am 70poundloser. That is, I want to lose 70 pounds. I have farther to go than the both of you, but I will race the both of you. Right now I am 206. I want to get to around 130. I am 34 with no children. This is my first post, so I am learning the board. If you have any suggestions on how to best use this board let me know.
Ok are we going weigh in every week? Let's weigh in every Monday to share our progress. I am trying to eat one meal a day. My birthday is in September and I need to be down 30 pounds.
hi fatgirlagain, I am 40, the mother of 3 and have just lost 17 lbs with weight watchers. I could use a jolt, I am starting to lose motivation instead of lbs!! I am currently at 185 and would like to lose a few (dozen) more. Mary
70poundloser: why are you trying to eat one meal a day??? That is unbelievably unhealthy for your body and even if you lose a bit of weight, you'll gain it all back when you eat normally again. It's better for your body if you eat AT LEAST 1200 calories a day and incorporate exercise in. It is not an unreachable goal to lose 30 pounds by September if you do it the healthy way. Please be careful!
Thank you to all who responded, MY current weigh in day is Friday because I like to splurge a little on the weekend . I am currently not following any program but my own !I mean Ive been fighting this battle my whole life so I should know A thing or two!! I once lost 160 lbs and gainned quite a bit back just looking to lose what Ive regained and Ithink nothing wrong with a little competition. I think If we form a small group of women who can come in and post once a day or everyother day and support each other and offer advice on dieting and other daily life issues that would be great!! Hello ladies,I am A 28 SAHM of a 13 month old boy and am wanting to lose 40 more pounds . I have been eating 1400 cals a day and have been working out 5 days a week.
I'd like to check in with you all. I am a 27yo mom of 2 but trying for #3. I am following the south beach diet, per doctors orders, and have lost 27lbs so far. I still have a ways to go but am confident I can do it, unless I get pregnant and that would be ok too
For those of you that may be familiar with it, I have pcos and am also taking fortamet (metformin).

I;d like to join to. I'm a 25 year old professional in a committed realationship. I currently weigh 165.25 down from 182. I would like to get down to 135-140. I try for the gym or other planned exercies 6 days a week. I'm following WW flex plan with info from a friend. I am also a memeber of TOPS so I get weighed in every Wed. I am currently doing a competetion with a friend to see who can lose the next 10 pounds the fastest (being healthy ofcourse). I was wondering what your competeion goal is??? 1st to lose 5 pounds,10 pounds or something completely different???
I'm online durning the week, but rarely on thw week-ends. This should be just the extra motivation I need.
Okay how about "Girls With Goals" Just a thought now I know we Dont like being called girls but it fits. Any other suggestions? I think our first goal should be first to lose ten pounds and the reward will be something you do for you and only you!!!Pedicure massage whatever. After the first person reaches the goal we sill set a new goal such as exercising for 45 mins 5 days in a row and again make our own rewards. Whats everyone think? This will start on monday everyone come in give your weight and well get started . Oh and if anyone wants to talk about other things going on please feel free. I think that all aspects of life are part of this diet thing!! Good day ladys off to cook dinner!!!
