Red face Gold stars! (for little triumps) July

New thread for the month of July... a big to all the chicks who posted their triumphs last month! Remember, it's the little things that matter....

My gold star is for the fact that I have managed to exercise 3 days in a row!

Today I was at a fast food place (unfortunately ) but I did manage to order a plain burger with a salad instead of fries and a 2% milk as part of my combo

I also went out shopping with my parents and remembered to bring a fruit bar and 2 bottles of water so I wouldn't snack on junk at the mall!

I went through my closet yesterday & my 8's FINALLY fit again! The Victoria Secret/London Jean ones that seem to run a little small...as oposed to the Wal-Mart ones that seem to run huge. Yay! I gave all of my larger 8's & 10's to a neihbor! Now I actually have space in my closet!

Thumbs up Woo Hoo - New Measurements

Since my scale hasnt moved since July 2, I thought I should redo my measurents since I know I look smaller.

July 2 -242 lbs
Chest-50", Waist-41", Butt-51.25",thigh-28.25", Bicep-14", Calf-16"

July 24 - 242 lbs
Chest-48.5", Waist-41", Butt-49.75",thigh-27.5", Bicep-13", Calf-16.5"

Not sure how my calf got bigger - must have been all the hiking.

So now I feel better since the inches are coming off even if the scale doesnt move.

I would like to see my chest (with out bra around fullest part which include back flab) down to about 43", 38 at ribs (dont want to lose the D-cup, but I could live with a C.)

Would like my waist to be no more than 30, 28 would be awesome!

Obviously my butt should be bigger than my waist but not as big as my chest so lets say 38 at the fullest part - or less.

And my thighs need to not touch so lets shoot for 18"

I am probably dreaming.

PJ, whenever I do more walking/hiking my calves get bigger too. I like to think they look better muscular & big than smaller & flabby though. C's won't be bad on you even though your tall. For one thing, they don't sag as much. And you might even be able to get away with wearing tank tops without bras! I am a D right now & they are way too jiggly. I have to be down to a B not to jiggle but thats because I am short. One thing I do notice, the last few years I don't shrink in my bosom as much when I lose weight, that used to be the first thing to go. Of course, if I ever have kids I guess all bets are off. I see so many of my friends either ending up with enormous ones...or they completely disappear after breastfeeding. I have one girl friend who had C's and now has A's!!! Weird huh?

Talking Totally Weird

Not that we ever plan to have kids - but if I ever do - I will either gain 100 lbs or be so sick that I lose 100 lbs.

So if I get in shape and tighten everything up - I should snap right back - right?

I dont think any amount of loss will stop the sag - comes from going braless way too much - I work at home so why do it?

Later

My gold star is for standing in line at a store this weekend right beside a wall of european chocolate bars and not buying one!
