Cool 48 female beacher needs a buddy

Hi, I live in Alabama and this is my once again try to lose some weight. I have already lost 10 lbs on this diet and would love a buddy to help keep me straight. I don't know if I get bored or what but I tend to eat what I don't need to mainly ice cream. If I have a buddy to help me stay legal and not cheat I would love it.

Hi Christie,
Thanks for getting back to me. How long did it take you to lose? I have been at this since May 1, 2005. I had hoped to lose all of it by my birthday on June 8 but it did not happen. I know it is a slow go and I am staying with it.

Hi Tennie

I started the 11th of June so I havent been on it too long, Looks like you have done just wonderful though and you are so close to your goal now...You will reach it soon, the last few pounds hold on sometimes but they will eventually go away...at least I hope so I am still following phase one this week and I will go on to phase 2 Friday, I have a wedding to go to Saturday and really wanted to hit the 10 pound loss by then so we will see. What are your favorite foods on the beach??? Mine are.....

deviled eggs
turkey pepperonis (baked)
squash
sf fudgesicles
sf popsicles
crustless pizza
and taco soup

I like phase 2. Have you tried the sunrise parfait(sp)? with the fruit, cereal, and sf whipped topping? Very good for breakfast or snack. I'm not sure if I have a favorite. I like the sf fudgecicles too with the natural peanut butter and whipped topping. As you can see I like the desserts most of all. I have been eating the veggies alot and more salads too. I like the pepperoni chips. Have you tried those? Just make them like the cheese chips. Good snack. I missed my bread on ph 1 also.

I had no idea how bad I missed my bread till last night...I wasnt craving junkfood...just a slice of ww bread...go figure How often do you weigh yourself?? I think I weigh tooo often, and thats what discourages me, I was up 1/2 pound this morning and well lets just say it spoiled my mood for awhile, I dont want the scale to contol me to that extent so I may go to weighing once a week. I had ww french toast this morning with sf syrup and my hubby walked by me and said( You better now?) LOL
He thought I had cheated till I told him it was ww bread a sf syrup Well I hope you have a great day and know if you need me I am here

How do you make the french toast? I have never mastered that one for my liking. I probably weigh myself too much too. First thing every morning I feel like I have to do that. Sometimes I know before I ever get on the scale what it will tell me. I've tried so many times to get my dh to eat like this with me. He is about 50 lbs over weight but he loves his sugar and won't give it up. Right now I am enjoying my coffee and a bowl of blueberries with ff cool whip. Plan on walking later. Have a great day.

Thanks for keeping in touch. I love being able to talk to somebody that is in the same boat. Right now I am trying a breakfast pizza. I put a ww tortilla on my indoor grill with salsa and cheese on top. I have been using the ww pita bread at work and decided to try this at home. I think I have a big folder of recipes from this site and the sb site that I go to. I love new recipes.

Hey Teenie
Long time no talk Hope you had a great 4th of July, I bombed on my eating for a few days and put on about 3 pounds so I am trying not to go so far off plan
The one problem I am having is no melon...I LOVE watermelon and well they are on every roadside stand up to my house!!! I just cant imagine something so natural being kept away from a healthy diet. Oh well I guess I will quit raving Hope you are having a great day!!!

Hi Christie, sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I had a good fourth. I seem to be stuck right now on weight loss. I'm considering going back to phase 1 to see if I can start losing again. I love melon too. We bought one of the small ones and I had to have some of it. So sweet and juicy. I did make myself stop after only a few bites. I really crave sweets when I do something like that. So far I'be been craving carbs. I guess that means that I've had too many of those too now. Oh well

talk to ya later
