Default Typical Dinner Meal for You

Hello Everyone!

So far so good for me this week.......I went cold turkey on my own weight loss plan on may 30th - and decided last week I needed some 'support' so taht I wouldn't fall off the wagon so went to my first WW meeting last monday.

I have breakfast dialed, lunch dialed...........what about dinner. Anyone care to share what they 'typically' make for dinner or what their favorite dinner meal to make for dinner is?

Thanks!.......Mara

3-6 oz of lean protein (chicken, fish, pork, beef)
2-3 cups of veggies (usually 0 point veggies)
starch (potatoes, rice, pasta)

Either Chicken or other protein or a WW entree
a huge bowl of steamed veges (carrots, zucchini, mushrooms etc.)
Sometimes I'll have a small serving of rice or slice of good french bread, most of the time not.
And I always save a few points for a dessert, either a WW Giant cone or a skinny cow!
Works for me so far.

This evening I fired up the grill and had a boneless chicken breast with greek seasoning and grilled a red, green and yellow pepper with a touch of olive oil. I had 1% milk to drink.

Very satisfying.

Chicken chicken & more chicken!

I usually have chicken or fish (broiled or baked) lots of veggies & either a small baked potato with ff sour cream or a 1/2 of pasta with spray butter & some garlic.

Tortilla pizzas are great too. My kids LOVE these.

BOCA vegan burgers on Martin's Potato Rolls are yummy (3 pt's total)! And I'll even treat myself to some Crinkle Cut fries with it (12 for 3 pts!)

One of my favorite veggie dishes is steamed broccoli sprinkled with parmesean cheese.

On Friday nights we eat at Applebees, because they have a fabulous WW menu.

I try to stay away from the frozen entrees because they're just not filling enough for me. Not too mention the sodium is through the roof!

Wow! Lots of great dinner ideas here!

I want to mention tilapia! I live in an area known for seafood! I love shrimp, crabs and other various items. However, I am NOT a fish fan! I can't stand the fishy smell, fishy taste, bones, etc.... BUT, a friend talked me into trying tilapia AND I'm happy to report that it has become one of my favorite ingredients for dinners! I am not sure the point count for the fish alone as I've never figured it out alone. BUT, it is a white firm fish that has no fishy taste or smell! Try it!

Default Tilapia!

Love me some Tilapia, even my non-fish eating BF loves it.

Tilapia is 97 cal with 1g of fat for 4oz portion.
