A moan about buying houses
we *partner and I* fell in love with a house 2 weeks ago and put an offer in on it a week ago. it's been on the market 6 months and falls very nicely in our price range. we're leeds commuter belt so everything has hiked up prices which is a nightmare as first time buyers on a limited budget.
anyway, we were all excited and due to send our stuff back to the bank tomorrow for the mortgage and the estate agents ring me up about an hour ago. the woman selling is probably going to pull out of the sale. after 6 months! she's decided to give the house to her son cos he's coming back to the UK from abroad. well where does that leave us? £100 down from the money we had to put on th ehouse to make sure no one else could buy it (that's how JUMP work) and we don tknow if we'll get it back. i sure as **** will sue if we cant cos it's not like we pulled out of the sale.
there's nothing else going either. the one other house we love and is perfect is a little too expensive. so wait til monday and hope the bank can tell us we can borrow something more if we need to. they probably wont let us though so we may be stuck completely.
ahhh if i shot this woman do you think people would mind>? I Really love that house.
