Hi there! I'm a newbie here as well - and from PA! LOL Whereabouts in this horrible state are you? I'm just outside Pgh.

I've thought about doing WW, but between my kid and my work schedule, I don't think I'd ever make it to a meeting. Not to mention any money saved is highly beneficial. LOL So I just do my own thing.

Default me Too

I am from Ohio just right along the road and I too need to lose 100 pounds or should I 98 more since I took off 2 this week. It took me awhile to get started so don't give up, tomorrow is a new day and a new start. One little step at a time.

Talking PA here also

Hi there! I have 150 lbs to lose and feeling overwhelmed. Some people think I should get the surgery, but I really want to do it the regular way. I have been in a plateau all month, losing and gaining the same 6 lbs. UGHHHH!

I am from the eastern part of the state, about 70 miles north of Philly. I am so glad Spring will be here soon. Its easier to get movitivated with the warmer weather. Hope you all are doing fine.

Default Another Pittsburgh Newbie

I am 23 years old and im having a really tough time losiung weight without any encouragement. I have been dieting for about a month and have lost 13 pounds...which is great i know, but im still frustrated at how hard this is compaired to how i thought it would be. I would really like a buddy who is close to my age cause i think they would be easier to relate to, but at the same time right now i am focused on this weight loss thing so any help would be great!

Hi new here also, I would like to losse about 40 to 50 lbs it sounds like I lot since I have never stuck to any weight loss program in my life. I am joining WW tonight, I tried other diets but I think their outlook is probably the best since it is about moderation more than denial. Now if I can just start eating smaller portions and not give in to cravings I should be OK, yea right easier said then done. I did meet someone this morning at the gym that lost 123 pound on ww in one year, so it shows you it is possible. In fact their are about 6 people I met so far that have lost 50 plus on WW and have kept it off.
I am thinking about starting a buddy group of us newbies so if you are interested post on my buddy thread
