YES!! Finally got one in my area. (Suburbs of Chicago) Checked it out yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! They had WW pts posted by some of the foods! I was impressed. Did notice one mistake though and told the cashier. Unfortunately she was clueless about WW and I dont think she will persue it. I will mention it again if I see it. It was the Black Bean Chili (LF of course) listed for 1 pt. Using the slide it was 4. Other posted pts looked fine.
Bought some organic veggie soup that looked good. Any suggestions for products there?
Bought some Veggie Booty too.

I get my ground beef at Trader Joe's. I believe it's 3 points for a 3 ounce hamburger pattie.

I prefer the pirate's booty over the vegie booty.

The tacos are great.

There are lots of threads on this subject. Just go to the search button.

Thanks for the ideas!
Im just so excited to finally get a Trader Joe's in the area after hearing so many good things about it.
Almost bought the pirate booty but Im not a fan of cheetos. I love cheese though. Go figure! Maybe I'll be brave and try some next time.

Thanks again!

Here's my Trader Joe's list:
* Trader Joe's Shrimp Stir-Fry - in the frozen food section (whole bag is 2 points. Add an additional cup of shrimp for 1 point, and extra frozen veggies for 0 points.)
* Eggplant Hummus (4T = 1 point)
* Whole Wheat Pita (2 points each)
* Chicken Artichoke Basil Pizzas (1/2 pizza = 4 points)
* Vegetarian Pot Stickers - frozen (8 for 3 points. They steam up lovely in the microwave, use a little Yoshida's sauce for dipping)
* La Tortilla Wheat fat-free high fiber tortillas (1 pt)
* Pita Pizzas (2 to 3 points each)
* Barley and vegetable soup (1 cup for 1 point)
* "Baked Not Fried Eggplant Parmesan" frozen (2 points)
* Frozen Fat Free Vegetable Biryani (1 cup for 3 points)
* Trader Joe's Roasted Vegetable Enchiladas (4 points)
* Trader Joe's Beans and Rice Burrito, 99% fat free (4 points)
* SMART CUTLETS by Lightlife (1 point per cutlet)
* Marinated mushrooms fat free (0 points)
* Spinach/tofu ravioli (14 = 3 points)
* Veggie slices, provolone flavor (1 for 1 point)
* turkey bacon (2 slices = 1 point)
* Better'n Butter Peanut Butter (1tbsp = 1 point)
* Portabella and spinach wrap (fridge section, 2 points per entire package)
* Kashi Go Lean Bars (5 points per bar)
* Kashi Go Lean Cereal (high fiber, more protein than Good Friends)
* Skinny Corn Chips (2 cups = 2 points)
* Pacific brand broths in chicken, beef, mushroom, vegetable
* Frozen Tofu Manicotti (4 points)
* Basmati Rice Medley (1 cup = 2 points)
* Chicken Sausages (1 sausage = 2 points. They are great for breakfast with egg beaters, or grilled with onions for a sausage hoagie.)
* Soy nuggets (just like chicken nuggets)

P.S. This list isn't really "my" list - I didn't come up with it all by myself, it's a compilation of many people's ideas. I used "my" in the sense of, "This is what I buy when I go." Also, some of the point counts may be for the old 1-2-3 system, when you could count more than 4 fiber grams, so check them again to be sure.

WOW! And what a list it is! Thanks so much.
I can't wait to go back and try some more stuff! Today at my WW meeting everyone was talking about the Go Lean. I have been eating Good Friends but will definately try the other!

Thanks again!!

Lynn - Which TJ's did you go to? I live about a 1/2 hour drive from the one in Northbrook, but definitely plan on making the pilgrimage.

Hi Carla,

I went to the one in Glen Ellyn. Only about 20 minutes from me! Just opened few months ago. My parents live there too so this will work out nice!
Looking forward to my second trip next week with all these great ideas!

Two things I'd add: the frozen Plats du Chef (a Canadian brand only carried at TJ's in the US) French onion soup (outstanding) and TJ's house brand chai latte mix.

Cece...I'm a stone's throw from the Northbrook store. Do yourself a favor and go on a weekday---the weekends are psychotic there!
