Good morning from the cold but sunny Great White North.
Bamie, I hope you get feeling better soon. It's sure been a rough week for you.

If you weren't feeling so crappy, I'd bop you with my chicken purse for mentioning your weather!
Good work, Cottage! I can't imagine going to Curves and being back this early in the morning. It's not the number on the scale, it's the difference in the numbers that counts - but you know that. You've still lost 13 pounds and it must be gratifying to see the measurements change.
Ellis, REAL coffee? You mean like those bean things that look like bridge mix?

I checked out my bean grinder the other day and discovered that H. had used it to grind pepper back in the days when he cooked.

Peppery coffee? Isn't that North African?
Little Chick, Howie is such a cute puppy! I hope he "gets it" soon. You sure sound like you are having a busy weekend. I'd love to watch your littls dancers.
This morning I go to see my PCP, Dr Jack, to discuss this damned knee situation and get SOMETHING done about it. I am sick and tired of hurting and complaining about it! It's cramping my style! Cortisone? Suction? Amputation? Just kidding!
When I shopped yesterday, I got some wonderful strawberries! Thank you, California Chicks! Lucy and Hershey thank you too because they adore berries. Fruit is one of the reasons I just can't go back to Phase I although I may have to do it if the scale doesn't start to move.

Right now I am focusing on drinking more water, that's MORE, not just some. Half a glass with my pills is not enough.
I'd better get cracking to get out of here. I'd like to shovel some of the snow off the deck before I hit the road. Spring needs some encouragement!
