Ok....Anyway....It is wonderful to see you back Lori. We have missed you. I second the offer of Kae. I have been there. Married for 23 (ok 24)years to the same man and let me tell you....I won't depress you with details but I can relate. One day you are feeling so close and united. Then it seems like no one talks and if you do it is a fight or nothing worth discussing. My case was different in that my ex. molested our daughter. There is a lot more to the story but lets just say that put lots of distance between us. So I can tell you in my case divorce was the only answer. I can also tell you that I honestly have forgiven my ex. as has my daughter and son. But I don't feel much of anything for him at all. Kind of sad huh? On the upside....I have grown so much closer to my daughter and she has been an inspiration and model of strength in faith to me. My children love me and that is a most wonderful thing.
Ok so ...Lori in short....we are here to listen and support you. You want to talk we will listen, cry, we have shoulders, need a hug, we have arms of sisters. We are here for YOU!
Sounds like everyone is doing well on the WW front. I haven't counted points this week. Been sick. Figured as long as I was eating no sense in counting. I think it is sort of good to take a break once in a while. Will start fresh tomorrow. I don't think I have gained but probably havent' lost either.
Kae here is a question for the introduction: If you could (or do) play any musical instrument you wanted what would it be?

Question of the week: Choose one person in your life that has inspired you the most and why.
Mine would be my daughter: She has taught so much about motherhood, generosity, and forgiveness. Besides all the fun stuff she has showed me...my crafty side...which I never really explored until I was older and mostly from her encouragement (funny....I thought we were suppose to encourage them). I could go on but I won't. I could say some of the same stuff about my son.

Ok, I just want to end by saying Happy V-day! I know it isn't until next Monday..but hey.....

Shawn, thank you for the offer. It really is nice to know that people care. I really shouldn't have left here. You are all great. I do have to say thought that you and your kids are very big and kind hearted. I'm not sure I would ever be able to forgive someone for touching my kids. I guess though, its a different story if you actually have to go through it. I am sorry that you and your family DID have to go through it. I was molested when I was 4 by a friend of the family. He was 12. Still haven't forgiven him. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much your offer means to me, and to tell you that you are one strong, kind, and big hearted woman. Thank you.
My husband hasn't done anything that really would require a divorce, but I was thinking a seperation because we just weren't the same people anymore. I felt as if he stopped careing about who I am and how I feel. He used to be my best friend, and we would talk about anything and everything. I think now that we talked he just started to take me for granted. That I was going to be here no matter what, and it didn't matter if we were so close because we are married and not just dating anymore. Does that make sence? I hope so. There is alot of little things that started to happen that typically wouldn't have made a difference if it happened and was over, but the little things were happening all together and I wasn't able to handle it. I explained how I felt to him and he told me that he didn't realize that he was hurting me the way he was and that it would stop. He said he would do anything to make me feel better. I hope he sticks to his word.
Ok, so thats my story, or a summery of it anyway. Thank you again for listening and lending a shoulder to lean on, to all of you.

Last night at weigh in I lost another 1.4 pounds. That makes a total of 36.4 pounds lost. I have to say I LOVE BEING A LOSER!!!!! And I love sharing it with you.
I must go and get kids ready for school now so I will talk to you all later.
I also have to think about an answer to the question of the week. I will type to you all later.

I feel like I walked into a conversation without a clue did I miss a whole thread? uh anyways..
I hope you all are doing well. I'm in the middle of working my 40 hour week and my water intake has taken a drastic dive. I can only drink before and after work I've been told that Monday eveything will back to normal and I'll only be working between 32 and 26 hours.

My title says it all. It is snowing here in the good ol' land of Oz. I was supposed to meet with my English Conversation partner today but I didn't want to make another 30 min (one way) trip to the college.
I'm going to buy my Tennis racket next week...I'm so excited about taking the class.. even if I have no coordination whatsoever

Everyone doing good? I'm still struggling on getting more than 64 oz. of water per day. I know that's still good but I was use to 120oz. The number of trips to the restroom has declined..that's a good thing
Still don't know if I have lost any..hopefully if my tuition reimbursment comes soon, I can have one by Tuesday or sacrifice some of my paycheck to the weight loss god
I am really doing good on Slim Fast. I feel more in control without having to think that much I have a shake for breakfast and lunch and usually 2 snacks in between meals....then something light in the evening. I do the Optima and it has less suger and calories but better taste than the original.

I never posted back to back before...hmm!

...Anyways. I have new developments. I bought a scale tonight and it weighs me exactly the same as WW. I love it. It has a memory of my age and height and tells me what my bmi is. I also purchased my SF supplies and just got off the phone with my mom that said that if I continue to go to the WW meetings she will pay for it So...because I'm really into SF, I will combine the two and include the poinst of SF in the mix. SF shakes and bars will cost me 14 points and that leaves me 12 points for the rest of the day. I can do it since I always struggle with my points. Don't you get three passes? or is that when you pre-pay? I missed this past Monday.

Lori, yes, I know what you mean. Sometimes it seems to take a little "dating" again. Have you talked about having a date night? Just you and him? That might help.

Christine- Yes I think you do get 3 misses. I hope so too since I missed last week. I think I will try to go Saturday. I haven't been doing so well. Not counting points. Like Jen and Kae, I have been sick. Going around...poor Larry has it now. I like slim fast. But I know it is hard for me. Can't just drink my meals. Have to have real food!
Anyway, I wish you luck. Keep us up dated on how you are doing. Were did you get the scale and was it expensive?

Kae, How is it going? Taking your vitamins? I sure hope you get better soon.

Everyone as for the conversation that Lori and I were having......it was about relationships and how we sometimes need a sympathetic or empethetic ear. First of all.......THis is for you Christina, I really hope you do have a great V-day. I will send them again on Monday. I am sorry that you are single for this holiday. Although sometimes its not a good thing to be with someone either. Depends on who they are and how they treat you.

Second, welcome Dawn. I am sure you will find all the ladies here very warm and welcoming. I know they have helped me through a bit.

Right now my husband is putting together a new entertainment center. We went out onight and bought a new TV (a 32 inch one) and since we knew it wouldn't fit in the old entertainment center we had to buy a new one. We also bought a VHS/DVD player. About 1 1/2 weeks ago we bought new furniture for the living room. So now it actually looks like a nice living room. Before we had a bunch of stuff that was hand me downs, furniture, lamps, etc, and it kind of looked like a bad bachelor pad. Now its nice. I'm happy.

Anyway, how is everyone doing? KAE......are you feeling better yet? I hope so.

My husband is kissing butt since we had that really big fall out. He is really trying to please me with everything. Its kinda nice, and since I know its not going to last forever I am soaking it all in as much as I can. Is that wrong of me? I hope not.

Well, time to go help since I want to go to bed soon and we are only about half way done. I will type to you all tomorrow. Have a great night.

Christine....Thank you. I will check it out cause the scale we have is sort of old. I am not sure it works right. And $30. isn't much.

I went and weighed in today! I didn't lose but I only gained .2 lbs. Remember I told you I haven't been counting? Well, not bad for someone who wasn't counting! I wasn't going to go but my friend Kelly said now you know you should go and you want to know what the weight is. So I went and was pretty satisfied. Now it is just a matter of refocusing and getting back with it. I also went and did 30 min. on the treadmill for cardio program. Gets my heart rate up there and boy I felt GREAT afterward!
Gotta do that more.

Well, Kae, I do understand were you are coming from. So....I wish you a Happy Valentines Day and hearts and flowers too! I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself.
