Default Good Morning!!

Thank you, all for the compliments on Daisy. She's my furry little world... And I know that Thunderpaws is very misleading, but if you heard her running around the apartment, you'd swear she was 10 times bigger than she is.

Kier--Yep, you can switch meetings. I switched from Blair (my hometown) to Missouri Valley, to Omaha. Just tell them that you're going to start going to a different meeting and they'll let you take all of your stuff with you. Then you just give it to the new meeting people and tell them you started someplace else.

I can't stay long, I have to get some work done, since I was gone most of the week. I'll try to stop back in later!

Kier - you can go anywhere in the WORLD!! That is one of the cool things about WW. Its international once you're a member. I know there are rules re: outside N. America, but for the most part, it's easy.

I WISH I could take cold meds...I am calling a doc today to try to get in. I am so tired of the gross sinusitis symptoms. Now my eyes are starting to goober up in the morning, so I know something is afoot. I am concerned it's beyond a cold now.

I will be out of town for work from Sun-Tues, Thurs-Fri....so really, I am home one night next week! GAH! Makes it tough to be sick on the road. I don't sleep well in hotels at the best of times. I hate how they make your clothes smell of bleach and cleaners. I like to get out of the office, but 2 days a week is good enough for me.

Jess how are your drugs working? ARe you feeling better? I am afraid of getting bronchitis! It NEVER goes away for me....I can easily be sick for 2 months.

OK must go get LOTS Of work done (I am presenting at a conference on Monday and I haven't done my part of the presentation - only the other persons! Ooops!)

Hello. I was a member of this forum about a year ago. Yesterday, I went back to WW, (badly needed to).I had let myself eat whatever and whenever for far too long.

Hey gals,

Sounds like you all are a bunch of sickos! Glad you can't spread those kind of viruses through the net! I had an alright day so far. I had a crap sleep last night full of dreams (but nothing scary) and I woke up a billion times. Oh well. Slept in a bit anyway. I went for lunch at a pub & there were not anyhealthy options to be had. I ended up having Fish & Chips but didn't eat the chips. There were really any better options except maybe some 'Pork Soup' whatever that means plus not a big pork fan. Anyway like an hour after my guts were not happy with the grease & it quickly was expelled. Even our bodies know what's best for us. Spent the afternoon watching a DVD copy my friend gave me of the show we went to last Friday. It was soooo good! Its blizzarding here so we're staying home tonight and watching a movie I think. Kinda too bad because this local band called 'Butterfinger' is actually home this weekend & playing a small venue. We were hoping to go. They're playing a second show tomorrow night so maybe if the weather is better we can go then. I have to work tomorrow & it is going to be very busy. Anyway I should go make supper. We're having denvers. Don't worry its with Omega 3 eggs and lots of veggies and some nice fibre filled bread. Oh yesterday I was reading this book called the Green Pharmacy that tells what herbal supplements etc a person can use to help with different ailments & they have some interesting things to say about losing weight. I thought I'd try to post it sometime this weekend.

Belle, where do you have to go for those days? I hope that you don't get sick. One natural way to get over a cold quickly is to get a massage. I know I sound like a broken record. Massage increases circulation, there by sending a virus through your blood stream more quickly. By increasing circulation we are also increasing the number of immune system cells that you need to fight off infection. Often is a person has a bit of a cold & they come for a treatment by the end of the treatment their cold is full blown & intense but then they are over it way faster -sometimes in as little as 24 hours. What I do is get a massage at the beginning of my cold and then if it isn't gone in a couple of days I get another massage which is usually flushes it out of my system all the way.

Kier, Have a good time at your new meeting.

Christine, your user name seems familiar. I used to be on here lots but kinda dropped off this last year too. I just came back this month. Welcome back!

Hi Jess. Hope you got caught up on all your work!

Talk to you all later!

Anyway my weight has gone down to 159 which is still a bit over from where I want to be but not too bad. Work has been good, BF has had tons of interviews this past week.

Anyway the last couple of weeks has been expensive for me and now it looks like I'll have to bring my car into the shop so grrrr..

Other than that all is well, hopefully I'll have some exciting news soon. I have started WT again so I expect I'll be sore a lot for the next little while.

Belle: I hope you feel better!

I am lucky, asides from my UTIs and other gyno probs, I have only had one bad cold this winter.

I love my new job BTW sorry I can't really post at work, they are getting stricter I think with their monitoring, so I am reducing my time on-line.

Cheers!

Ali

I am starting to envision myself thin (he he)

Ali, Glad your liking your job..taht's half the battle...Congrats on the weight loss...

Hi Ladies
Am Still sicko I was up for hours last night eugh
Went to WW this AM the leader was great it was the Last Straw Meeting I got applause and a sticker! My last staw was when my GF saw DH helping me up her **** stairs and said "I can remember when you used to do this yourself"
THE WI was ok not fab 205 but It could have been much worse! So my first goal is 10 % I WANT THE KEYCHAIN if they still do that
DH is going to do it with me so I'll have someone to support me
Hi Ali If you like the job sniff sniff we can come second! I'm glad the scale is starting to go in the right direction!

Hi Kierie-- Proud of you for going, that's the first step! Yes, i know at least here (Florida) they do the keychains...That's my mini-goal as well which equals 16 pounds for me to lose (to start). We can do it together. You are lucky that you have the support you do. Mine doesn't have a weight problem, and is as supportive as he can be, but has no idea what its like. Good luck on your new job!
Talk to you all soon,

Kierie,
Yep! I know how that is. I just have to be consistent and stay on that road of losing..ya know? I have finally faced the fact that I have a problem where food is involved and I really ahve to work hard not to binge or overeat. I am going to take it one day until the next. I had a great day yesterday, so fior not that will be my motivation. Dh is awesome, but he just doesn't get it. He has always been wonderful in never telling me that I am bigger or need to lose weight, he loves me unconditionally..and I really value that but I also know he'd love to see me thinner (he just doesn't say that...ever) But I am doing this for me.
Have a great Sunday everyone.
I am taking Jessica(7) to a birthday party. The other girls will stay home with hubby. I will be sure not to indulge in food, the Bday Party is at the local bowling alley. Other than that...have no plans for today.

Looking forward to being a Big Loser--

Goodmorning, Happy Sunny Sunday to all
This week has been hard for me, having difficulty with staying OP. I've been much hungrier than I've been since I started ww again in the beginning of January. Soo. . not much change in the scale. I'm finding my biggest issue still includes finding the time in the day to get exercise. I hate the gym and it wastes a good 2 hrs in the day by the time you go work out and come home. Any ideas? I could use em.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
