Talking 38lbs gone! ya!

I weighed myself today and I'm down 38lbs! I honestly thought that when I started this whole weight loss adventure i would never see a change. But now slowly but surely the weight is coming off. who would have thought that i could do it? i didnt lol but now i know i can do it, and it just motivates me to work even harder. i decided when i can see my belly button again im going to get it pierced. i've always wants to, but my belly button is where the fat creases so you cant see it lol...but now its showing signs of life again lol anyways, i just wanted to share what i used to think was the impossible lol

Default Congrats

CONGRATULATIONS ON 38lbs!
That's fantastic! I'm curious - what you've been doing. I'm 21 as well and my weight has been coming off extremely slow as well even as I am watching my calories and exercising for almost an hour at least 4 or 5 times a week. Thanks for the advice!!

all i've been doing is watching what i eat, counting calories...i have between 1000-1200 calories per day, and I dont go over 20 grams of fat per day. And I try to exercise at least 3 times a week. and i drink a lot of water. Thats about it. It took me about 6 weeks to loose 20lbs. I started this all on November 1st, so I'm averaging a little over 2lbs a week...but i mean, every week is different, sometimes i'll see no change at all and others, like this week, I'll drop 5lbs. Just hang in there, thats the key, just stick to it and good things will happen...and if you slip up one day its not the end of the world. Hope this helps

Congratulations! Thats Wonderful! and I know how you feel about the belly button piercing! :-) Im aiming on getting to a size where I can do that too!!! Your weight is falling off that is just so great! Keeping you pumped~
Beautifulwannabe~ Don't worry you will be fine if you are working out like that. Just just an FYI when i started I was working out 4-5 times a week and I never lost a lb then I rested a week and got back into it and then took some time to rest inbetween and thats when my weight started to adjust a lil bit. Good Luck to you! You can do it!

~CONGRATULATIONS~
