Default My small successful steps

Hello,
I am Islandgurl. I am not new to 3FC, but I haven't been on this site as much as I should. But, I finally am taking control and I wanted to just take a moment to list some of my successful steps:

1/ One day, my life changing moment, I had been crying and I had enough emotionally and physically. I got up from my bed and went straight to the kitchen and cleaned my entire kitchen of all the junk food by throwing it in the garbage.

2/ I am reading and following Dr. Phil's 7 keys to weigh loss surgery.

3/ With the Support of my husband, we both went shopping for healthy foods: veggies and fruits and so on.

4/ Today I weighed myself: 7lbs lost!! Whooohooo

These are small steps, but nothing was ever accomplished in a major step. Small steps is what I will take if I have to, one step at a time!

Faith

It's all about making small, significant changes, that can turn your whole life around. These steps may be small, but they are profound, and they are just the start to changing your life. Congratulations and good luck, you are well on your way!

Thank you Ladies. I realize that it is about small steps to success. My worst mistake in the past is taking on too much all at one time and expecting instant results. Not going to happen that way. I had to work on one problem at a time. My two newests things that I am working on is:
1/Drinking more water.
2/ Learning to eat my 3 meals a day!
But, at leaste this time I don't feel overwhelmed with so many new life changes at one time. I am introducing them bit by bit.
Thanks for your encouraging words.
Faith
