Talking 42 yo mom of toddler new losing 80 lbs!

I've been reading some of the threads, but haven't time to go through all the ones from this week, so thought I'd try this.
I'm working Dr Phil's 7 keys and would love a buddy for that, but for food I'm doing WW flexpoints as Dr Phil's food plan is too harsh for me, right now anyway.
I think I have a great sense of humor, but who doesnt? I live by email, so will be pretty active, and if I'm not you need to kick my butt!
I'm a Unix Sys Admin by profession, live in Colorado now, but have lived all over the US.
I'm doing a Valentine's challenge of 10 lbs, work out (or try to) at Ladies Workout Express - a curves type circuit.
Hope this resonates with somebody out there!

Hello Kim.
Your life sounds interesting. I am only 25 but I am a mother with a 6 year old and a 18 month old and do try to get on the computer when ever I can which is alot. I have a boring job as a cashier and tho at times life is hectic I try to do a little of everything. I live in Indiana and am trying to loose some weight and get more energy.

If you need to talk you can send me a PM or we can email.. mine is [email protected]

Default I'd love to team up!

Hi Kim and Stephanie,

I'd love an email buddy. My motivation is high right now, but it'll start sliding about February!!

I have 50+ pounds to lose, I'm down 5 so far by eating more fruits and vegetables and being careful after dinner--that's my downfall. I lay on the couch eating, and reading diet and fitness books! I think losing weight is harder for me after hitting my 40s, but persistence will win out.

I've heard good things about Dr. Phil. I've put a hold on his book at the library. I hear he doesn't like excuses! Sounds like I need him.

I want to finish a sprint triathlon this summer and am slowly working my way up the cardio scale. I like running, though I'm slow. Biking and swimming are more of a challenge. I use freeweights and videos here at home for strength training and have actually been using them (well, for a week!). I'm a starter-and-stopper with exercise.

You can reach me at [email protected], if you'd like to team up.

Good luck to us all!

Clary
