Leenie: How's it going?

I'm more tired than usual today. But that's because I was so mad I couldn't sleep. Then I realised....WHY am I letting her get to me like this? I need to be done and over this and just go on. When the family pictures happen and they're not in it....that's THEIR (or I should say HER) choice. I will explain to the MIL why her other son isn't there. Which should of course tick her off. But hey, I was trying to do them all a favor. Professional pictures taken at no cost to them. How could they turn it down? Well, cuz it doesn't have to do with HER family. That's how.
Anyway! I stayed OP last night...but had a LC chocolate bar. It was SOOO good!!! It had caramel in the middle and everything. YUMMY!!! Good thing I only had that one in the house! lol. But the urge for chocolate has disappeared. Mostly because of the anger I felt. And WHY am I getting so angry lately? That worries me a little!! But I think I've been having good reason.

Good morning ladies

Brenda: I'm so proud of you, you've been doing great even with all of the stress with the hunting stuff and your SIL.

Leenie: Good morning, how's everything in your world this morning?

I'm waiting for the housing people to come by today and check out my quarters. I've been fighting with them to replace my fridge. It's full of rust, has no door handle and a broken door seal. If I moved out they would replace it before they moved anyone else in but unfortunately, I moved into the quarters that an AWOL soldier had lived. That means that when his unit cleared out his household goods they checked off this house as cleared without doing the maintenance. I've lived here for almost 4 yrs trying to get things fixed because we couldnt afford to live off base but I'm ready to get things rolling.

Have a great day ya'll
Hugs

Jules, sounds like you have a lot of stress to deal with yourself!! I can't imagine living on base. Or even near a military area. I give credit to you and other armed service spouses! Hope all goes well and you get your repairs done

TGIF ladies!!!

Well went to the gym last night and to Walmart (and spent WAAAAAY to much money) The gym felt great, I did 2.50 miles on the eliptical machine and that thing kicks your butt! Came home and the kids were in melt down mode (they were tired) so they wen to time out and then to bed, they seem better this morning. Other than that all is good and OP.

Jules: keep buggin them and they will fix it, but good luck!!

B- Don't let that dummy bug you! and yes tell the MIL she should know.

HI Leenie!!!!

HI All!

Im around! I am trying to be MORE around but Having trouble keeping up with the kids! UGH!

We had to give away to a good home my beloved Sophie yesterday. She was my buddy, but the reason for my asthma problems. I have been on steriods since June! We are going to have to replace the carpet down stairs too... There is so much dander that we have to get out of the house!

Gotta run to school.. but I will be back!

First chance I have had all morning to check in!

Brenda: Ok, what did I miss? What is going on with the MIL? Inquiring minds need to know.

Jules: Hope they get the fridge fixed for you. You shouldn't have to put up with that.

TG: Glad the kids are better today....I know I would NEVER have the patience for that. That is why I don't have kids

fayette: Depends upon what your situation is. I have done better on low carb than on low fat but it isn't for everyone.

KarenW: Forgive me if I forgot.....but is Sophie a dog or cat? If there is dander in the carpet I would definitely suggest replacing it. I have asthma too but not nearly as bad as yours and I can't even be near a cat and some dogs (my mom's dog doesn't seem to bother me for some reason)
Sorry you lost your buddy

Hello all!

I know I went MIA again. It's so weird having absolutely no structure in my life. I've spent the last week doing nothing but just shopping. Not buying much, but going to stores and wandering around.

Leenie - SMOOCHIES!!!

Brenda - Glad you're doing better with staying OP and way to give yourself an attitude adjustment!

Jules - Good luck with the fridge!

TG - You're so good about going to the gym! Any idea what happened to the 75 degree weather we were supposed to have today?

Fayette - I think everyone here would agree that low carb is better because that's what we're doing. But if you go to the maintainer's forum and ask people who have been successful, you'll quickly find that it all comes down to a common theme: eat whole, unprocessed foods in moderate portions and exercise (both aerobic and cardio). That's it! Not big secret there.

Karen - So sorry to hear about Sophie! Hugs!

Jane - Good morning!

Same ol' thing around here. I'm not working and still really enjoying it for the time being. DH starts his new job on Monday and I'm thrilled! It looks like there's a good chance I'll be going back to the company that I was working for as a permanant employee in a better position with more money so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Sad news - one of my friends over in the sandbox had one of his guys die last week. The funeral was on Tuesday. It's such a hard thing! Puppy just went over there and I got my first email from him today. I miss him so much! It's just scary all around.

AND since it's my birthday, we're having a theme party at the bar. It's 'Goth Night'. I'm so excited! I'm taking a camera so I can show you all a picture. Other than the party tonight, DH is taking me to the movies this afternoon, then on Saturday is my friend's daughter's 9th birthday so we're going to her party and then out to dinner that night. And on Sunday we're going crabbing!!! That happens to be my favoritest thing in the world to do

Between the running I started this week (Thank you, Karen!) and the crabbing I'm doing on Sunday, I'm going to be one sore girl on Monday! Can't wait!

Have a great day everyone!

TG: You do so great on exercising!!! Sorry to hear your kids have been acting up lately. Wish time outs worked for my kids!

fayette: Definitely low carb. It just seems easier to me.

Karen: Sorry to hear about Sophie. Hope your allergies get better though.

Jane: Sounds like you've hada busy morning. There's really nothing going on with the MIL. But it's DH's brothers wife that's being a Just hadn't decided whether to explain that to the MIL (I think she knows) or not. lol

Star: Good luck w/the job. Sounds like a good advancement!

DH should be home soon. Then we're going traipsing through the woods. He got permission last night to hunt in that 20 acres. Well, they BOTH did. But the idiot gets 1/4 of it to hunt in while DH gets the rest. lol. Fair eh? We're also going bowling tonight. So I should be getting plenty of exercise
