Someone asked the question on how to measure a cup of ice. Now I can't find the post. I got to thinking about this as my ice cubes are smaller than regular size.

Take a 2 cup measure or a quart measuring cup and add 1 cup of cold water. Put ice cubes into the cup until the line comes up to two cups. Pour out the water and you have 1 cup of ice cubes. Better yet pour the water into your drinking glass. I was amazed how many cubes it took to make a cup.

This is the same way I measure berries.

Default Measuring Ice

In the klone recipe for a blizzard it calls for 1 cup of crushed ice.
