Question Need some help :)

I am just curious....what do you do for excersize? When did you start it? How far have you come and how long did it take to get where you are now?

I need some new ideas for excersize (w/o paying for a gym) and toning techniques and some realistic ideas of what to expect.

I seem to think I am super woman and if I can't build up stamina in ohhhhhhhh, about a week, then I think I suck! I know thats putting too much pressure on myself so if you ladies could help me out a bit, I would appreciate it!

I mainly do the WATP tapes. Walking Away The Pounds. It's great exercise and a great workout. I lack motivation so I can't tell you how to exercise or what to do or how often to do it. I admit it...I'm a slug. I go in spurts where I'll exercise like a fiend...then go w/out any at all. If you want diversity I also do the Tae-Bo. But if you don't like to sweat you won't like that one
Good luck

I have the Tae Bo tapes. I like them! One of these days I will get past the beginners

I have a lot of family around, so something like that is only do-able on the days nobody is around to watch, if ya know what I mean.

I have an elliptical, and do the 20 minute program at least 3x/wk. I go to step aerobics Mondays and Wednesdays for 75 minutes. Pure torture.......

Ah, where do I start? I get bored easily so I do a whole variety of things. I walk every day, do pilates, bellydancing, ride my bike, go rollerblading, and keep a set of weights by my couch so when I do sit down, I can work on my upper body. I'm very consistent about my walks and pilates, but the rest of it happens when it happens.

I have some pilates tapes and that big ol ball Along with some Yoga videos. There is a stair stepper, bun and thigh rocker, stationary bike and a cardio trainer bike in the garage but there is no air in there so right now, I probably won't use them every day.

I would LOVE to get a tread mill and an eliptical. Dh is going to hook up our punching bag and teach me how to box. Uhoh!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh I am SO jealous! As soon as I buy a house, I want to get one of those big punching bags and hang it from the ceiling in the garage. I like to fight

Some how that doesn't surprise me coming from you.

Dh used to train professional boxers, still does a bit. We can't hang it from the ceiling but we are going to buy one of those rolling stands for it. You are supposed to drill it in place into the floor, but if you just buy a couple sandbags or bags of cement and drape them over the bottom it won't move an inch. Plus I can roll it out of the way if I need too instead of having it hangin in the middle of the room all of the time.

A little less destructive and I am always afraid those things will fall out of the ceiling anyways. I had one in my garage a while ago and the whole house would creak if someone used it.

I would love a punching bag. We had a treadmill and I never used it. Sold it to my MIL
