Smile Friends With Ra And Oa #4

Good Morning ladies.,

Laura - I hope that you will be feeling better soon. No rush on getting into graphics. I will always be around to help you when you are ready.

Angel - Nice to hear from you. A weekend away sounds great. Hope you go and really enjoy yourself. I think you need a break from all the stress of renovating your home. I don't think I could think of anything much worse than that and having to live in it at the same time.

Joanne - Sorry to hear that neck of yours is still giving you so much grief. Hope you went to the Dr. and had it looked at. Good on you, walking on that treadmill. I have been doing the steps - 4 flights up and down. It seems to take me a long time to get up, not because of breathlessness, but because my darn hip is giving me so much trouble right now.

Pam - haven't heard from you for a couple of days. Hope you are just busy and not feeling poorly.

Not doing to much today. Some general cleaning I guess. Having company later this evening.

Default Hey There

Happy- Do you live 4 flights up? If not cut back till your hip heals or is better. If there is pain there may be inflamation. No I didn't go to Dr. I doubt there is much he will do. More pills I don't want. So you love summer? I bet if you were here you wouldn't be saying that for long. I can tolerate it as long as I can get into the cool air . I worked in the yard today. I must have sweat a bucket. I'll probably be sorry tomorrow.
Walking was not on the list today. Tomorrow.
Bye for now...Joanne

Hello just a quickie to let you know I am still about....I dont fly over the pond until next wednesday, the wedding being 3rd July. I am trying to get my tiling in the bathroom finished. I have to admit that it was another challenge I took on that I shouldnt have done. I have had to take a break today as I feel dreadful. Not only wiped out but very off balance for some reason. I will resume on Friday as tomorrow I am having my hair cut and coloured. At this minute in time I have plumbers installing a new bath tub and cistern. Anyway just wanted to let you know I was still in the land of the living. Will try and get back on later. Take care everyone...ttyl!

Hello friends. Gosh. You miss a few days and get so far behind!

Stirfried, I'm just now reading the posts, and regarding Atkins. I try and stay within 20-30 carbs a day. I"m really struggling this time though. Last year I lost about 60 pounds, but unfortunately, butt fell off the wagon and gained it back. However, I know it works for me and my body, so I'm back on. Pass the butt glue, I'm not falling off this time,
Anyway, I was losing anywhere from 2-5 pounds a week, then plateau'ing for a while, which is normal. I stay away from all the white stuff. Pasta, potatoes, rice, sugar, bread. I don't eat lima beans, peas, corn, and I try to limit carrots. It does take some getting used to, and wrapping your head around it definitely helps. I belong to a few support groups, if you're interested let me know.

Ladies, its gray and rainy here today and I'm hurting, so i'm gonna finish this here and pray for sun.

Kim

Default Atkins

Kim,
That is what I have been trying to do. I will lose like 10 lbs, then gain 5 back so its a real struggle for me to. Right now money is short so I am having a bad time getting the foods I need. I don't eat any starched either. I do buy this low carb bread it has 4.4 carbs in it,and 2.0 net carbs. so I do get to have a couple of pieces of bread. I need some of that butt glue myself. Anything yhing you can help me with is appreciated.

Pam,
The wedding day is getting closer and closer. I know I can hardly wait for my daughters wedding and its still 3 months away. I hope you have a safe flight next weds.

Anne,
Maybe by next week or around the 1st of july I can try again with graphics.

Charlotte,
I went to your site yesterday. Is that a picture of you? You look pretty good to me. How much weight did you want to lose?

Joanne D ,
Just a hello. Hope you are feeling better.

Noodles,
I forget How old are you? Aren't you about 19? Its to bad to have something like r.a. or o.a. when you are still so young.

age oldie,
I just want to say hello to you. We really haven't posted much to each other. This is just to let you know you are in my thoughts take care. een][COLOR=Indigo]

Good afternoon ladies and good night to others

Pam - Not much longer before you fly over to our part of the world. Well the US is not really my home, as I live in Canada, but we are the same continent. I will bet you are getting excited. My son will be getting married in October and it isn't that far off with the way time flys.

I can't imagine all the work you have done and are doing with the tiles. That is hard work and kind of back brakeing. Hope you are taking LOTS of breaks.

Ageoldie and Joanne - I CANNOT complain about the heat today - there just isn't any. It is trying it's best to rain but not even succeeding with that. I could not stand temp. in the 80 and 90's all the time. It is really a dry climate here and I love it around 75-80. That is comfortable.

Angle - sorry you have lost your get up and go. That fatigue is just terrible. Sounds like maybe a bit of depression going on as well. Hope it clears for you soon.

Laura - Good for you getting the account set up. That is the hard part. The rest is pretty easy. Do you have Yahoo or MSN Messenger? It is easier to be talked through it. If not, we can just do it by message on the board.

Joanne - Hope things are going well for you.

As for me, I cleaned up my house yesterday, got groceries, had company over for dinner, so now I have leftovers for supper - YAY!!! I haven't had much to do today, so played a bit in Paintshop Pro, and putzed around. It is not a nice day today, so play I will
