Becky: that's okay!! I am like that a lot.

Jen: Ooo a new van. Getting a lemon of a car really bites. I hope you have much more success with this car. I want to get a Toyota Matrix next year, they look really cool (plus I love Toyotas).

Kierie: Wow your wedding is so close... BTW how long have you and your fiance been together? My ring finger is starting to feel naked

Belle, Karen, Tonya and KT! Howdy hope today is a wonderful day for each of you.

Anyway I am doing well. I get my first therapy session today. Kind of nervous... I have been realizing stuff though already. I am sure she'll encourage me to journal.

I just lost a post. How the heck does that happen. Well the gist of it is that I was OP yesterday and packed a lunch so that I could be today. DH did well yesterday also. I am not sure this is the plan for him though. I just hope he finds his niche. How is everyone doing today???

Kieri~ What will you miss about your bed? DH and I started out in a full. Imagine it. He is 6'3 and 260lbs and I am 5'5 and overweight. We were squished. It was fine at first but then I went on vacation with my DS and DH and I both slept really well b/c we actually had room so when I got home we bought a king size bed. It is so wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend it!

Jen~ I've lost 17 on SBD. I lost that in the first 5 wks (I think). I have been waffling for the past few weeks and am finally back in it now. I am only on day 2 of phase one though. I am hoping to be on phase one for at least a week and a half two weeks. How did you like the paln? Were you successdful on it?

Belle~ Your night sounds exhausting. I haven't been up that Late/early in YEARS. I am dying around 12am. I am getting so old

I can't remember the other posts from yesterday but I hope I responded to most. I will bbl.

Ail~ I hope that the therapy session goes well. I found that when I went it was a great way to vent to someone who wasn't going to give me advice based upon an angle. I don't know if that makes sense but sometimes I felt like friends were going to tell me what I wanted to hear or what would benefit them. I am sure it will be a growing experience for you.

Hey all.... It is a gloomy day here today. We have T-storms last night.

KO... We bought a Pontiac Montana. We had a Chrysler Voyager. Never again will I buy Chrysler. I had a car before that, that also had problems (tho not as bad as the van).

Ali... We looked at the Buick Rendevous and I thought it was cool... but then discovered that with 2 kids and a really big dog, it just want enought bang for the buck room wise. We also have a full size truck, so we are set with lots of room for us!!

Becky, I lost about 13 pounds on SB, but once I went to Phase 2, I got a little sloppy. So I am not sure if I should go back on Phase 1, or just do better on Phase 2. I am trying to incorporate WW into it so I don't feel as deprived. Right now my life is so hectic tho, so I haven't sat down and just examined it all.

Work is nutso....

Becky: our friends don't want to hurt us, while our therapists don't want us to hurt ourselves I guess... I know I have a few things that I am nervous to discuss, trust me, I tend to be a people pleaser and the queen of denial so often.

Pontiacs are nice, I hope your van works out well for you. I don't have kids yet and I only have a 7lb cat so I don't need a lot of space.

Kierie: I understand you completely.... my BF and I currently live in the place he used to share with his ex-girlfriend... It's been hard for me to call it "home". We got a new bed though. And we're moving in 29 days

Cheers!

Girls, you are hopping today!! And it's still early!! Today I feel like a million bucks i hae on a nice new blouse (been complimented) and new sandals. I needed this, as WI was BAD. I knew it wouldnt be pretty because TOM is STORMING and I am bloated as all get out - the stomach is ROCK HARD. But I was up 1.8. That puts me at 218.6 - the highest I've been in three years. I haven't gone above 217. I have been waivering from 217-207 for the past few years, and now I have busted out of that.

It was a good wake up call. I went to the journal and began to write. I think the biggest thing that has changed is that I don't walk to work anymore! now that we have to drive, I am missing that extra 30-40min walk/day. plus, my gym membership expired and we moved buildings so I no longer get workouts in. With the moves and work trips I haven't started a new rountine. I think that is the biggest issue for me, as my eating is good. BUT I have been using close to or all my flexpoints. Time to let them go a bit and use only my target points.

I am starting fresh today with a kick in the @ss and journalling honestly, only using my target points and, most importantly, I am going out at lunch for a 40 min walk. Tonight I'll do my upper body workout. I mean, not only do I have a wedding in 15 weeks, I also don't want to become really obese again! I wrote out some of my feelings and fears and even just seeing them on paper helped me focus....and our conversations of before too!

Ali- good luck tonight and tell us how it goes. I have been considering this myself, and probably will follow your lead!

Kier and Becky - you make me want a new bed too! Ours is DF's old bed and it was "shared" with another woman at one time too - of course, before we dated, but nonetheless, sometimes it grosses me out. It's a queen but I'd like a king so the dog/future kids can cuddle nicely!

Jen - when I think of Pontiac I always think of the commercials "you got it Pontiac". hee heee - enjoy cruisin with your new car smell I have heard a few folks say that Phase one they were successful but then got bored/sloppy in phase 2. Are you still counting your points then? I think Ali is doing that too. Makes sense!

OK better actually get some work done so I don't run the risk of working on the weekend again...blah!!!

Have a good day and BBL

PS thanks for "listening" to my WI revelations rant!

Belle: Hugs, I am at my highest point in 3 years too, but remember TOM can add 3-4lbs sometimes (at least for me). Yeah, all those little walks to add up. When I was living downtown I barely used my car and I could eat a lot and maintain my weight. It was ideal. Now, I make myself walk almost daily (I take the bus, so I add in a walk to a much further bus stop). Try to do what you can for now. Do you have any tapes you could do at home? Be proud you're eating well though! Good Luck, you can do it!

Kierie! Good Luck, I hope you can find time to eat!
