Flower a big huge CONGRATULATIONS to you, 14 lbs AWESOME!!!! You know the more you lose the more it drives you to want to lose more, its a great feeling.

I'm not wearing green today, I didn't even think about it, but then I'm not Irish (yes my name is, but I'm not )

So who's eating green food today ? I was sooooooooo tempted to get green donuts this morning but the Good Lord was with me in the store and steered me in the right direction

Whats up with you all. Do you guys do anything special today ?

Good Morning Chickadees!

Oops forgot to wear anything green. Everybody give me a big pinch!

Wow Flower - AWESOME weightloss! you are doing great! YOU GO GIRL!

Hey Leenie - green food huh? Let's see I'm gonna have some green beans with my pork steak for lunch and then a salad for supper. I eat a lot of green stuff everyday. LOL wish I would get a little green tint to my skin from all that food, then at least I would have some coloring

Anybody want to try to chat around 2 pm my time. I'm in Louisiana - it's 9:30 here now. I'll try to be in the chatroom around then and see if I find any of yall hanging out there.

I'll check back later - the phone won't let me play in here right now.

hugs,
cathy

I didn't put on green this morning either. Maybe I can get hubby to give me a real good pinch when I get home

Flower that is great about your weight loss. I am stuck on mine right now. I can't seem to get past the 8lbs lost. I have been sitting here for about 3 weeks now. Maybe you will rub off on me.

I really don't have much to do today. I am just trying to make myself look busy so the boss dosnt' think he is paying me for nothing. hehe

Wink It's a great day for the Irish....

....let's HOPE so anyway!

I finally had my Drs. appointment yesterday. He put me on Wellbutrin SR. I started today, so

I've been doing pretty well food wise following Dr. Phil's quick start. Breakfast today was a bowl of butter-flavor grits and a Boca "sausage" patty . I don't know what's happened to turkey bacon and sausage in the local stores. I think everyone here is on either Atkins or South Beach

I'm Irish , but I'm not wearing green today :frown: As for food, the only green I'll be eating is salad  Funny, I grew up in an Irish community (outside of Boston) and an Irish family, but I've never heard of being pinched for not wearing green As for pinching me, I'd like to see 'em try it!

Flower: 14 lbs gone? As a famous basketball commentator would say:

AWESOME BABY!!!

Happy St. Patty's day everyone

Hi to all you lovely ladies,

Not doing too much today. We really don't get into holidays and such..the thought of coloring my food green makes me ill..unless it is a salad or something that is naturally that hue..and then sometimes it is *still* hard, LOL.

Joined a local chapter of TOPS last night. A lovely, lively bunch of people working towards a common goal of weight loss and supporting one another on the way. We have age ranges from some young people, (like maybe 11 or so) through very elderly. So..it is neat to see everyone working towards getting healthy.

Flower..I am so happy for you; way to go!

Homebound, I hope that your new med. works out okay for you. Good Luck on Dr. Phil's plan. I just borrowed his book from a friend to review.

Kempy...try not to get discouraged about your platau..think of it this way..you are *maintaining*. Now..doesn't that sound nicer? I hope that you bust through it though.

Cathy...I hope that you find someone to come chat with you..I have no clue what I will be doing at 2 your time..possibly nursing my son down for his nap? I may be in Louisiana this summer for the DONA conference but I don't know. It is a LOOONG drive.

Leenie..good for you for not giving in to temptation! Keep it going strong, girl!

Does/has anyone noticed when they try to eat healthy that friends/family try to sabatoge them, perhaps even unintentionally..but still, hard?

Just wondering how you all deal with that?
