Good morning, it's lonely here! We're getting more snow in Nebraska. Spectacular.

I went to the Y last night all by myself. It was scary. I did fine on the treadmill, but couldn't figure out how to turn on an elliptical and felt like a major dumba$%. I just got off and went on the weights. I didn't know anyone there, so I wasn't too worried. I'm hitting the Y again today, this time with a friend, so that makes it a little easier.

How's everyone else doing?

You aren't alone Jess.

Crazy morning at work. The new usual. I may seriously lose my mind. Or maybe just my waist line. We went out to celebrate a friend's promotion last night drinks and a very cheesey chicken quesadilla. CB wants to go out again Saturday and I haven't the willpower to resist him. All these work hours and I'm having trouble packing and bringing healthy meals from home. I subsist on bagels, vendage and dinner's out. My first lifetime WI is supposed to be Tues. I moved it back to Sun. due to work. I'm never going to WI at my goal or under by then so embarassing. I'm feeling rather like a weightloss fraud lately.

Jess - good for you going to the Y. I'm glad you have a friend to go with tonight. I usually enjoy working out alone in the AM's but lately have wished for a work-out buddy to keep me motivated. Have fun tonight.

Not sure if I can pop in later or not. Have a good day all.

Laura you need a day of spoilage b/c if you take some time for you you'd probably recharge a bit I know the crazies alllll toooo wellllll right good girl Jess you gym going woman I'm trying to fenagle my new schedule so I can go too!

Hi Laura and Jess and Kierie anyone else who I miss while I'm posting. I had a TERRIBLY hungry day yesterday. I hate that when you eat good food at regular intervals and still feel hungry. I'm doing a bit better today but it's cake day at the office so that will be an interesting challenge for the afternoon. I still have some flex points but I'm having pasta for dinner at a friend's tonight too and can't control what goes in to the food so I'm trying to scrimp and save the points. I'm busy this morning so I can't say much. I'll check in this afternoon if I have time...

DIET COKE!
I had a peice of bread and a slice of RF cheese and a cough cough stella dora breakfast treat but i made a kickass meatloaf for tonight gotta go the mal calls like OH MY GOD!

Hey all. I had meant to get here earlier and start the thread, but then got busy and never made it here.

Hey JESS... As for the elliptical. First start pedalling and then wait a few seconds. The control panel should start up and allow you to choose the program type, minutes, etc. I use them a lot at the Y and notice that people don't realize you need to start moving before you can start the program.

It is below zero here again.... FOR A HIGH!!! OMG it is so cold again. We went out for Chinese for lunch. Shame on me, but couldn't help myself. Oh well.

Laura, during this stressful work time, remember yourself! You don't need to delve into food in order to feel better. Just remember to take care of you!!!

Kier - I was thinking the Diet coke is what did me in. I had one the day before and I felt like I've been hungry ever since. It's probably because I'm coming down with a cold. My whole department has it now.
Jen - You can shiver off the lunch! I really have to figure out the difference between our temperatures so I can know exactly how cold you are down there.
OK - time to surf the net for some new recipie ideas...
