Talking curves

Hello everybody!

i just started curves today and LOVE it! its a great workout and everyone is so nice and supportive! i've been trying to diet and stick with it, but would fall off and eat something terrible, but i feel like since i'm going to be exercising on a regular basis that i will be able to stick with it! i feel better already!
Have a great day!

I eat "terrible" things, but plan for them. I have a "Friday" rule. I keep a list of all the foods I really really want to eat all week. Then on Friday, I pick the one thing I still want and can't live without. I use my flex points on this treat.
Last week it was a honey bun- 8 points. This is a 16 gram fat treat that I used to eat as a kid. My "Friday" rule helps me not go off track.
I would love to try curves. Are they expensive? We have one in my town. I walk, but do no body toning. I think curves does body toning while helping you burn calories. Is that right?

Thats a great idea about "Friday"!! i'll have to try it!

Curves is $149.00 to join, but right now they have knocked 1/2 off, so you can join for $74.50. then its $39.00 per month, or if you agree to check draft and 1 yr membership its only $29.00 per month. the initial fee is a one time only deal, as long as you stay a member. if you quit for a couple months then go back you will have to pay it again. the workout consist of wieght machines and a recovery period ( jogging in place) so you get cardio and body toning because you keep your heart rate at target rate and your working every major group of muscles in your body.
Have a great day! :-)

Default Curves

Most Curves franchises let you try it for a week free to see if you like it. Right now, ours is offering 1/2 off of the regurlar joining price, and some kind of $99.00 special. I have to admit that I haven't checked out the special, so I don't know the details. I really enjoy going, and have noticed a big difference in weight loss, inches lost and attitude!
