Default Week of 11/9

Hi All!

Well, I've got my clothes all hung up and ready for my first day tomorrow! Going to get my water bottles packed tonight in my little cooler bag, and make a wrap to bring with me for lunch. I'm going to pack Peter's things in the car tonight, so all I have to do in the AM is plop him in and go. It's gonna be a really early AM, because I start work at 8, and of course I wanna get there by 7:45, for the first day at least. That means I've gotta leave my house at 7:15, so I can get to daycare and get him settled in and show them all his stuff, then give myself enough time to get to work.

I'm hoping that getting back on a regular schedule will help on the diet front.

How's everyone else doing?

Hi Lauren! Have a great first day at work. You sound really prepared.

I'm doing fine on the weight loss front. Had a couple of bad weeks but am back (a never ending record, huh?). I always keep up my exercise, it's the food thing that runs in cycles. I maintained last week, but am expecting a loss this week.

I did some Christmas shopping yesterday and really got myself in the mood! I'm happy about that as I haven't been in the mood at all yet. I may even watch a Christmas movie this evening.

Speaking of movies, we watched 'Finding Nemo' last night - it was great!

have a great week all!

I put this on the wrong thread - reposting here.

Hi guys - I'm back!!
I've been away forever.....its been a crazy year but I got off-track by (15 lbs) and thought I better head back over here. I need some support and some daily reminders so .....here I am!!!

Nice to see familiar names...

Lauren congrats on the new job. Hope you enjoy it.
Lizzard - I was wondering about that SBD, I'll have to check out that thread.
Rabbit - HI!!!!!

Anyway here is the 'dirt' on me.

After reaching 171 (from a high of 217) I have creeped up to 186 and I'm very depressed over it. I'm back to little binging fits it seems like and thankfully I've been walking 1-2 miles a day or I fear it would of been a bigger jump in weight. The PCOS has been a problem this year (no period since March) and I finally got in to the DR and we're trying some different medicine. Started ACTOS this week. But I'm fearful because ACTOS is harder to lose weight on.

So I'd like to join back in and start losing again.

HEY JUL!!!! Soo great to see you!!! I was wondering how you were doing with the PCOS. Hope the new drug works better for you, without too many side effects.

PS, I deleted the other post for you!

Hi.

Finding Nemo is a cute movie - we did buy it the other day but when it was in the theater I think we saw it 3 times. We saw Brother Bear this week too. IT was really funny, loved the moose and the rams.

We have a short bio page on our state guild website, there isn't a picture of me but there is some info about what we do and a few pictures of glass. http://www.bestofmissourihands.com/riversidestudio.htm

I need to get out and walk the pups before the day gets to far along. I have a lot to do today between packing orders, bookkeeping, and trying to fit in the homeschooling. The boys are great they are 6 and 7 now. The pups on the other hand are a handful, they are named Tom and Jeri - the boys were into the cat/mouse cartoons when we aquired these dogs.

Off I go....praying for a good day!!!

Thanks Karen, bears are offered in 3 sizes, I think just the small and medium are shown in that group shot. $14,$20,$33 are the prices. Polar white or Satin Clear (clear with a irridized shine).

I'm trying to get back to breakfast and lunch being the larger meals of the day. We just had tacos for lunch, lots of beans and grilled onions and peppers. Now I'm off to do another couple hours of school with the boys and walk the pups again before a light dinner.

Nice to see so many posts!

Lost .5 this week. Right direction!

Jul - I know the feeling. I started at 230, got to 165.5, and am back at 195.5. Whoa! I got back over 200 before I managed to put the brakes on. I know you're not happy about your gain, but you have stopped it now.

Watched my first Christmas movie last night - Prancer. I'm the only one in the family who will watch that one.

Ellen Degeneres (spelling) stole the show in 'finding nemo'.

"Why yes, I am a natural blue" I love that line

Well Rabbit, I'm sorry about your gain too....but I'm glad we're in this together. As you well know, the hardest part is due to all the traveling.

I got out a fresh notebook (from the homeschool stash) and I'm going back to tracking the intake and exercise. Spending alot of time reading the diet boards and forcing myself to move more.
(2 walks with the pups today plus I mowed the yard one last time)

I agree, Ellen did steal the show! And I loved that line!

Jul, what kind of pups do you have now?

First day of work went pretty well! I think I'm going to really like it here! Of course of the 5 people I will be supporting, only 2 are in the office this week! One more is back on Thursday, one is only in 2 days a week, and the other is back next week. So I've probably got it easy this week!

I did really good on eating yesterday. Brought a LS ham and cheese wrap, fruit, and plenty of water with me. Had my oatmeal for breakfast, and regular dinner. Was a little hungry, but my body will just have to get used to not being home with the munchies all day!

Lauren, you are so right about being home all day with the munchies. I was doing so well yesterday and then just blew late in the evening. The boys are always wanting something to eat and sometimes I just eat without thinking. I'm thinking of putting up a big "Kitchen Closed" sign!!!!!!!

The pups were dumped at my dads and then came home with us. Tom and Jeri are from the same litter but look like two different kinds of dogs. Tom is very Terrier like (scruffy, and an underbite) and Jeri is more beagle/jack russel terrier looking. I'm so used to big dogs that having dogs in the "under 20 lbs" league is really odd.

hello.

Jul - yes I do know what you mean about the traveling. ~ I have a notebook I started recently also. I journal my points in it, keep track of weight & measurements & use it as a regular journal also.

Lauren = glad you like the new job!

Man I hate Krispy Kreme

Other than that I've done well today. Weston and Alex seem to think that because they own stock in KK that every time we go to Springfield we have to go there for donuts.
