Jocaro, I don't know if you're still reading this, but I've done fine with the Atkins Advantage low-carb bars, which I've eaten for some breakfasts during Phase I. I've lost 6 pounds in about 10 days, so I don't think they're slowing my weight loss much at this point. Ditto for the protein drinks; I tried a couple (don't recall the brand) without problem.
The thing I like about the Atkins bars is that they keep me full for a long time. The combination of fiber, protein, and fat is powerful.
