Default Running out of time to lose weight

Hiya, in my late thirties so I'm already pretty much "old" or at least not "young"... At least according to OA I'm not young unless I'm under 30 (the "young" members group is under 30). But 40 seems to be a significant milestone and marker of getting older, and I feel like I've WASTED so much of my "youth" overweight and scheming and failing to lose weight. I feel like in my older years I'll look back on this time and think, why couldn't I get it under control. Just being overweight shouldn't mean your life is a waste. But it has dampened my experience of life for over 10 years, and really just clouded everything and made everything less enjoyable. (that and I do have resistant depression that has lasted years.) And I'm feeling this crunch, like I'm already being called "ma'am" and have been since I gained the weight back, while I was a "miss" at 130 pounds , this pressure to be thin while I'm still....relatively young. 30s is a weird time, it's like the twilight of youth. It's a rough period to be obese.
