Default How I lost 6 kilos in 5 days by WATER FASTING

After being bodyshamed brutally for almost 10 years, I decided it was time to change things. So I started off with a 5 day WATER FAST program. I ended up losing 6 kilos and got a platform to start my next workout routine. If someone benefits from this video, I will consider myself blessed.

Water fasting is only a short term solution, and water fasting for such a long period of time exposes you to various health risks.

What do you plan to do after the water fast? If you go back to your old eating habits, you'll regain whatever weight you lost.

The only safe way to lose weight is to improve your diet. I suggest looking into the Mediterranean diet. It's a balanced diet and won't cause any dangerous side effects.

If after water fasting, you start a good diet, then the weight won't come back. However, it would be easier and healthier to just start the good diet right away.

Any food which is advertised as "detox" is probably overpriced. Eat a healthy balanced diet, and drink enough water, and your body will detox within a day or two. An even better option: Don't put the toxins in your body in the first place (in other words, don't eat junk food).

I'm in the same boat to be honest. I drop a bit of weight only to have it come back on again. My biggest issue at the moment is motivation. With the new year I might get a few weeks when I'm really dedicated but after a while I always slip up. I also don't think I could try that water fast because I get sooooo hungry. I've been looking around and I found a free ebook which talks about a tea which can help detox you, burn fat and, importantly for me, stop you getting those hunger cravings. Has anyone heard of this? I found it on a site called Magicweightlosstea.com. Just wondering if you guys have tried it and if it really does all it says?
Hello! I'm going to just randomly jump in on a conversation....

I've recently done a 48-hour water fast, which I broke only for New Year's Day. This time last year I would never have considered a water fast in any way helpful. However a few months ago I stumbled upon the ideas of keto, (intermittent) fasting, ketosis, autophagy, and so on. I never do things quickly so it was a while before I even started to try and narrow my eating window; last Saturday evening I just thought: I'll go without food and see how my body reacts.

(My BMI and body fat % are such that I really wasn't going to be in danger of anything approaching starvation!)

I did experience some hunger pangs around the times that I would normally eat - but only in the first 24 hours. Each time I asked myself if I was actually hungry, and the answer was no, so I'd have some water or green tea and just do something else.

I personally wouldn't shell out for anything special, teas or otherwise. I think it'd be good to 'work up' to a fast of 24 hrs or longer by doing some kind of IF for a few days. I'm pretty sure that whilst your body has switched into fat burning then it's plenty good at not letting you feel hungry until a moment when it really wants some food.

This is just my opinion from a small amount of experience, so if you don't like it feel free to ask for your money back!

my new plan on intermittent fasting on a 48 hour repeating schedule vs 24 hours doesn't seem to be working, but in a strange way. after shifting my eating window later in the day, i can't seem to get hungry by the nest morning, so i have essentially been staying on a 5/19ish intermittent fast, but now the "five" has moved to the early evening. i start my eating window about about 4pm and end around 8-9pm. this seems so much easier, though i'm not 100% sure if it isn't somewhat based on just doing something different. a short eating window, vs my old schedule of eating basically anytime between getting up in the morning and retiring for the day, isn't very conducive to a lot of options.

if you normally eat 2,000 calories a day and fast for three days, you may lose almost 2 pounds during your water fast. However, when you lose weight too quickly, more than 2 pounds in a week, you may not be burning those unwanted fat pounds; you'll lose muscle and water instead.

I don't know how much water fasting helps in losing weight but I got sick for a month and was not able to swallow anything to fill my stomach. I had complex tonsils developed in my throat.
For a month, I was 70% on a liquid diet and I lost straight 10 kgs. I was only having water, veg soups, green tea, juices and custard for a change. But after month when I got back to my daily diet, I instantly gained a lot of weight again.
My point is, the results with water fasting is not permanent or for long term. I believe one should better go with exercising and other measured dieting options. At least your body gets what is require for a healthy living. Losing weight is a second thing.
