it's supposed to be hot and very humid AGAIN today here, that means I don't leave the building all day. Not that ther's anyplace to go, but once in a while I run out for McDonalds or to CVS. Not too exciting.
The weekend is supposed to be much better, cooler and sunny. we are getting a TV cabinet delivered, I'm very happy because the tv is on the floor! It'll be nice to have it up off the floor and the dvd and all hidden away.
That's it. No excitement. Going to try to be OP today, got my hard boiled eggs, pre-peeled in a container, some ham, some chicken, cheese and salad.
It's up to 82 already here, Dottie. I have not run the AC all week because of energy conservation but today may be the day! I have to bake this afternoon for the Church bake sale tomorrow and the Parish BBQ on Sunday - 6 cakes and 6 pies. Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a community oriented chick. My DH thinks I'm nuts but who listens.
I'm at a standstill re weightloss - maybe because I'm retaining water? Football feet and sausage fingers are the first hint. I'm out of diuretic from the doc and he's on vacation so may go for the herbal ones today. I have resisted the ju-jubes but some chocolate covered raisins lept into my maw yesterday, alas.
Hershey and I are off to Lucy's Obedience Class this morning. Lucy is in heat and I don't want to chance her in a class which includes a couple of male dogs. I don't fancy a Portie/Westie cross! Hersh and I will go just to check out any new tricks. I am definitely NOT going to be an Assistant Instructor this fall and winter, by the way. Life is too short to spend it driving on snowy roads twice a week.

Well so far so good today, being weight in day, finally got below that darn 196 I've been sitting at for 9 days. Guess my body finally caught up to itself, although I'm sure the exercise, lower sodium and food changes made a difference. 194 with a vegence today!
I'm taking the emergency work pager today, so I'll be on crisis call for the entire city this week ugh! But it only happens about once a year so not too bad, hopefully, I can still get my usual sleep I believe that is making a huge difference in this whole weight loss thing. I've never kept such a good sleep schedule before. And normally I sleep horrible on pager, you're always waiting for it to wake you up in the middle of the night. So keep your fingers crossed everyone and wish me luck. After all there's only 10, 000 people that could possibly need assistance so what's the chances right?
Back to another hot day but those few cool ones were a wonderful break.
Little bummed this morning, I weighed in and it was up 2 pounds. I am pretty sure I have been doing well. No cheats and I am pretty sure I have been woking the program correctly, oh well, from what i read here, there are ups and downs. TOM has past, but iIhave been exercising everydy, so could be that too.
I will not be discouraged though!!!!!!, Just a litttle bummed out!

Hot here today too. Going out as soon as the dew dries to mow the lawn and start madly getting ready for DS party. The family party went well yesterday and he had a blast - he's still asleep so I guess we really wore him out (he's usually up about 6:30).
Today I have to clean up the house (mostly just party stuff from yesterday) and get everything ready for the party with his classmates tomorrow. We're in good shape but there are enough last minute details to keep me running around until bedtime - for sure! I have the stuff all assembled to start making his "batman" cake but he likes to help me mix the batter, mostly so he can lick the beaters
Had a little bit of birthday cake last night and a bun with my hamburger as there was no provision for eating it any other way. Ah well, back OP today!

Lily, looks like your doing great !! could be your retaining ? or like you said exercise. Make sure your going to the bathroom (bm) properly (what ever that means lol ) and drink plenty of water. With this heat I bet we retain more than we know.
Hang in there, dont be depressed, it could go away as fast as it came.
I've been doing pretty well this week...exercise and eating. And I'm having the same 'fingers like sausages' problem this week...I'm really retaining the water...argggh, I hate it! I'm going to up my water intake today and see if I notice a difference.
Heading out with DD for school clothes shopping this morning. She's made a list, so hopefully this won't be a whole day event .
Wish me luck today! I go to the Doctor for my post-OP Appt. I know he is going to want me to start the Depo Lupron Shots (They put you in Menopause) but I really dont want to do that! First of all, 36 is too young for hot flashes! Secondly I have such a horrible reaction to any sort of hormone! Migraines, High BP.. etc. I am hoping for a more natural approach! sigh...
