Default 10 Days In The Life Boat #124

Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.

My goal for the next 10 days is to be very aware of what I'm putting in my mouth and why I'm doing so. I need to become a lot more conscious of why I'm choosing to ruin my health.

My goals for this leg:

Continue increasing my stamina for doing chores - Spring brings so much more work!
Try to stay on a normal sleep schedule even though I'm basically living above a hatchery. Although I also need to be alert enough at night so I can hear if there are any problems with the chicks.

This leg is also going to be birthing/hatching week here, so hopefully I can still find time to check in.

Hey, I finally caught this on its first day! Yay!

Goals for this leg:
  • Drink all 8 cups of "water" (which is almost never actually water, usually herbal tea) each day
  • Get 4 cups of vegetables every day
  • Go to bed and wake up at a reasonable hour each day

Go us!

Magpie, welcome!

Judy good job! I need to row harder, too.

This mini-goal is sticking. I'm still dry.

Another dry day yesterday.

There are warm, fluffy towels in our virtual, on board, dryer if anyone needs them.

Congrats, Judy!

I've been staying very dry! It's nice for once. I've been going to sleep no later than 10:30pm and I'm back to my normal energy level. Lots of baby animals everywhere!

Super Freya! I'm so glad you're feeling better. It's still like the dead of winter here. Snowing again <sigh> as I type.

I'm still dry!

Hit the water yesterday but so far today I'm wrapped in a warm towel and rowing strongly!

It sounds like you need a warm, dry towel and a wool blanket! Our daffodils are just starting to bloom. Spring has definitely hit the west coast...

I am actually shocked at how well I did this weekend. I ate fairly healthy even when there were temptations of junk food in front of me. I still haven't gotten back into a regular workout routine, but I've been working hard around the farm. There is too much to be done and not enough time to do it all!

Hi everyone, I don't believe I've participated in this segment, but I am now and I will. Over the past couple of days I've eaten 2-3 days worth of calories in one day (binge eating). Not happy with it, but looking forward to the future (as in March 23, and on), because this is behind me. I am not striving to be perfect but I am going to continue to progress in the right direction and move forward with my health & weight loss journey.

March 23 (yesterday) was my first day back on track, I also got in 1 mile of Leslie Sansone on the 22nd & 23rd really happy & proud of that. I'm dry as of now, I wish my fellow rowers the same <3, let's do this! <3
