Hi all
Someone asked yesterday on another thread if we could use bean sprouts.

They are right on the P1 sheet, so the answer is yes!

I'm answering here because someone went back 2 years and bumped a thread but it appears to be confusing people. I said I'd answer questions here for ALL to see.

WI yesterday was 0 pounds.....but 1/2 inch from chest, hips and waist lol....my fat redistribution week! Lol. I'm good with that. The big C did not help..

Anyway thanks for the ideas on the big C. I drink smooth move every night and started taking AleoLax which worked great at first then didn't my coach has me now on a combo of aloe, chlorophyll, & psyllium husks powder that I drink at night for the next 2 months to try to reset my system. $50 bucks for the ingredients at the health food store yesterday, it better work lol! Oh and yes it is disgusting

Love the before and after photos yesterday....everyone looks great.

Ordered a bunch of tops on line this weekend because it seems I can make big pants work but big tops look horrible lol.... Got 6 tops for $100 between sales and coupons. Cheap and disposable ....lol. Just need to get thru the winter. I don't mind wearing the larger ones around the house, but going out to work I don't want to look like a clown! Lol

WTG!

Your drink does NOT sound appealing at all. Good luck with it! I hate spending money on something for it end up not working.

???? Now I have a question on logistics from our fearless leaders here . . . .P1 says IP for Breakfast and IP for lunch with 2 cups of veggies. Would it be acceptable to include one of those cups of veggies with my breakfast?

I typically have a chocolate drink every morning . . . however, I think I'd like to have an omelet with mushrooms for breakfast. It seems like it would be logical to do so, but not fully understanding the process of adding back food when I start Phase 2 (which I am a long way from), I don't want to screw up or slow my progress.

Pinky!

Sg: This has been brought up before, but in case you missed it...I'd be careful using Smooth Move tea every night. It is a laxative and your bowels will start to become dependent on it and you will start to have trouble "going" without it

Pinky!
Absolutely!!

The P1 Guide is just that...a guide to help you spread out your food intake across the day. But as long as you get all 3 packets, all 4 cups of veggies, and all 8oz of protein every day you're good! Break it up however you want.

I VERY often have an omelet packet for breakfast and add 1 cup of mushrooms or diced zucchini to the pan. Then I just use one of my "unlimited" raw veggies in my lunch salad, so I still have 2 cups of veg at lunch.

Good Morning All!

I picked right back up since my weekend (and only cheat while on IP) and it's been easy to get back on track. It's not official, but my home scale said 137 this morning! I have my official weigh in Friday morning and will be happy if I'm in the 130s on the clinic scale!! Just seeing the 130s gives me any more motivation and even more trying to figure out where I want to phase off at.

I hope everyone has a great IP day!!

Have you ever tried Natural Calm?
It is a magnesium citrate supplement.
"Moves" me!
A LOT less $$$ than what you described.
I get it from Vitacost.com. They have a "house brand" version as well

Good Morning All!

I'm not having a good day. I think i'm getting sick, sore throat, feel like I may have fever, just feel blah. I'm at work. Also, found out that a friend of the family passed away last night...heroine overdose. I just hate hearing stuff like that. Sad, sad, sad!! I detest drugs and what they do to people! Anyway, my heart is heavy. Just want to wrap my arms around my loved ones and hold them tight!!

Smooth move tea.... I seem to only go if I drink it. I only drink it once a week though, so....I pretty much only go once a week!!! I know TMI, but it's frustrating, I never had a problem going before IP. I WI on Tuesday so I usually have a cup of smooth move on Sunday night. I don't want to become dependent on anything, I'm hoping that I won't by drinking it once a week...

Happy Wednesday! It's finally raining here! My daughter says that God is answering her prayers Weigh in today saw another 3lbs go away. This next week I'm trying the Orange wafers! So far I have enjoyed all the flavors. This is my dailey treat to feed my sweet tooth. I'm also drinking a lot of tea and that is helping me too.

Sitting at my desk trying to exercise the willpower muscle. I woke up fairly early so had breakfast at 7. Was really hungry and ate my lunch at 10:30. Trying to save my afternoon IP snack for around 3 pm because I have been ravenous by the time I get home and that is when I have the tendency to slip. I don't know why P2 has made me SO hungry. ugh...Will try some tea and will drink another bottle of water.

Kellyc14, how tragic. A death is heartbreaking enough, but when it is because of something like drugs or suicide it makes it harder on the people left behind.

That certainly put my "blah" day into perspective. Sending you good, healing vibes, hope you feel better soon.

Well, I've really started to see a drastic reduction in the quality of produce over the last couple of weeks. It makes me worried about how it's going to affect my selection of veg for the remainder of my diet. Being this far north and so remote means we never get the really good stuff, but we're not as bad off as the communities north of us. We at least have road access, so that is something to be thankful for, otherwise we would be paying 3 times more and the vegetables would be half rotted already! Ok, enough petty grumbling

Hope everyone has an OP day.

OK - going out on a limb here with the whole "C" and getting things moving topic . . . experienced peeps, please weigh in!

So there is a closed group on Facebook for IP, one of the posters there mentioned that she was having issues so she had Franks Sauerkraut for dinner and she experienced what she called a "total cleanse" . . .

I did a quick search on it and sauerkraut does seem to be good for the digestive system and moving "crap"
