When you reduce carbs you eat, some of the first weight you lose is the body shedding water. If you start eating more carbs, some water weight will come back.
This is really a few pounds total.
When I first did the induction phase I lost more pounds the first week than would have been called for from a calorie standpoint (about 2 pounds extra). Of course, I did lose weight then and later that was "real" weight loss.
Later, as I added back in carbs, I found I wasn't terribly carb sensitive and I haven't ended up fairly moderate in carbs (an average of about 80 net carbs a day). During that period I did gain back about 2 pounds of fluid because of eating the higher carbs. But, that is all I gained back.
