Yoo Hoo, Ellis! I need a rail installed in the basement stairs. Can you come? It's so wise to do this stuff before your Dad's surgery. I was caught unawares when H. had his stroke and had to scurry around a lot. Let's really stick to Phase 1 this time.
Lady, I must get back to tracking on Fitday again. I should have used it when I started Phase 2 and recognized the too many carbs syndrome! You have done well on Phase 1 - congratulations.
The Fair is over and I sure had fun. There will be a few changes in the next three months that will make next year an even better Fair but for now, we are into cleanup and writing cheques for the prizes. I have only the school prizes to do which is great as they don't go out until school goes back in.
It's Gail day so I need to scurry around tidying and then will take my Girls for a walk. They missed me! Lucy sat at he door for 5 hours yesterday waiting for me to come home. She needs some quality time.
Poor Lucy!!! She does need some quality time...arn't our babies just the best!!??
I am back to day one on the beach!!! I have no idea what it is going to take to get me to lose some weight....DH wants me to go buy clothes....I need them despartly....but, I don't want to being this gobby fat!!!
Thanks for all the warm birthday wishes. I survived the weekend but realized that I do not get enough water in on the weekend, maybe that would have offset some of the junk.
Ruth - you make me tired just reading about all you do!
Ellis - Too bad we can't pick our families like our friends. You are smart to plan ahead with the rails.
Whimsey - I'm with you, I do good then I fall off and the darn wagon runs me over. I guess we need to just hang in there.

Man, I hate the weekends because I miss so much here due to working. By the time I check in on Monday mornings I'm behind in everybody's posts.
Work was so busy yesterday and I was exhausted by the time I got home. When I got there, my DS was there. He had just returned from his week in Bogota, Columbia. I was so happy to see that he was home safe (that place is just to dangerous right now). And bless his heart~~~he brought me some Columbian coffee (and I still get to keep the Starbucks that he brought before he left )
I weighed in this morning and I'm down 2 pounds from last week
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SFLAKE
WELCOME to Paris (been there, love it ), SuzeQ and Jez
Lady~Congrats on starting P2 and good luck.
Ellis~ I'm proud of your DH for sticking up for you. Thank goodness you don't live closer to your BIL.
2Dog and GO Fishin~~~Congrats on your recent weight losses.
To all those you fell of the wagon~Don't beat yourself up. If this was so easy, we'd all be skinny. Today's a new day~you can do it
Sil, I'm so glad to hear that your DH is home safely.
Enjoy your coffee, hon... and congratulations on the two pounds!!
Gofishin, have a great walk! I'd be lost without my pedometer... it's really given me a boost!
SFlake, drink water!!!
Madeleine, I hope your first day goes well!
And ZuzeQ and Jez! Welcome to all of you!
Whimsey, I wish MY DH wanted me to buy clothes. But I agree... who wants to buy FAT clothes!?!? I actually don't need anything, and my closet is bursting with fantastic thin outfits... waiting... waiting...
Ruth, I'll put your rail on if you send Gail over here when she's through with YOUR house.
Hello to everyone...
just waiting for my sweet/forever late sister to pick me up.
Can I just say how happy I am that I found this board? I'm not sure how people can complete a diet like this without a support network.
I'm on day 5, phase I. I can honestly say that the cravings are pretty much gone. Although when I was pouring my son's Sunny D this morning I though...."this smells nice and sweet"...then I snapped back to reality.
It's my TOM so I'm not weighing until at least next weekend. I lost 2 lbs. on days 1 and 2 so maybe by day 10 I'll be in for a big shockaroo.
Good luck to everyone this week and may you melt away.
PS...my breakfast this morning was AWESOME. Egg Beaters Southwestern omelet with shaved turkey from the deli and low fat mozzarella. Yum, yum, yum. I'm actually looking forward to waking up in the mornings now. That didn't sound right. I'm excited to get up and get moving in the mornings because I get my big 'ol omelet now. There, that's better.
PSS...an idea for you all that I thoroughly enjoy is Butterball turkey polish sausage on the grill. Dipped in a little dijon mustard, it is delish. Please no one tell me it's forbidden. Okay...tell me...but I won't be happy if it is.
Does anyone have any suggestions for breakfast foods other than eggs? I know I just started , but can see myself burning out quickly on eggs. I have been on Sugarbusters for two years and am used to eating my cereal every morning. Also, what about low fat sour cream, cream cheese, or nonfat yogurt on Phase 1? Thanks.
I am restarting today. Last week my daughter turned 6. We had a special dinner for her on her birthday and then a party the next day. The day after that we had the left over pizza and cake and finally yesterday I went to the movies by myself and ate the popcorn. I had been good for 2 and 1/2 weeks and then had the 4 day carb-fest. Today is the start of Day 1 Phase 1.
I have been feeling a little like a peeping tom, reading about all of your lives. I am not sure if I wil ever get all of you straight. You are an inspiration to me. And since misery loves company I am glad to see I am not the only one restarting today (though this WOE is not miserable for me).
Take care and enjoy the beach (I will actually be taking the kids to the beach today / actually the lake).
Hi Chicksters!!!
Been trying to catch up on all the posts as I only have computer access during the week...
I slipped a bit this weekend...as I figured I would, but I'm fine with that...had some pizza on Saturday, but got right back on track...
Went to brunch yesterday morning and had an omelot( wrong spelling I'm sure), no carbs, no bread...I was so proud of myself...
And...I was full ALL DAY...
Normally I would have eaten bagels, danish, etc...but I didn't even want them...
LOVE this WOL...I'm excited for this week 2...
Sorry I can't address each one of you right now, cuz I'd have to go back and remember who's who...(I'm still trying to keep everyone straight)...
