Angry

Finally Friday ~ 7/25
Coffee's on. Hot and strong! Time to start the day!

Been up since 4:00. And feeling it right now. At times I wish my body would allow for an afternoon nap. Guess I'll just be dragging butt today.

Kfs~ It sounds like you'll be visiting the Kemah Boardwalk. It's really nice there and some neat little shops. Wonderful restaurants on the water. Yes, it's close to the Clear Lake area where the space center is. Hope you have a wonderful visit. If you had more time it would be great to meet!

Got most of the house scrubbed down yesterday. Of course it had to rain so my floors won't stay clean through the day, but at least I know they were done. Do any of you get frustrated when you're trying to clean and you have bodies in and out all day? It gets to me! Plopping down on the couch while I'm trying to dust and vacuum! I ended up slamming my bedroom door a couple times and they all scattered! Maybe I'm just getting old and crumpy!

More cleaning and laundry for me.....some typing for dh.....same ol' .. same ol' .

Hey Jiff, how did the visit with the plastic surgeon go? Any update on the french chef?

to all those to come!

J

Well good morning Janice and Leenie!

So here it is Friday and I am not stellar OP. I have to admit the chip monster got me last night! But I did eat OP meals, I just got attacked by snackies! I am still alking eeryday and I have foud the perfect thing so my dog doesn't drag my arm off every time I walk her. It's called a Lupi, it goes underneath the shoulderblades and around the head and for some weird reason she doesn't want to pull! I have to say it was the best 20 bucks I've spent!

Trying to get my disaster house in order since we are going to an amusement park tomorrow with my friend and her two kids. Should be a blast!

have a great weekend eeryone and remember to drink your water!

OH--and I wanted to give you guys a great tip and alternative to iced tea--green iced tea! Here's the recipe: two bags of green tea (or decaf like I use) and one tea bag of mint tea. Tea bags in a glass pitcher and fill with hot water. Steep for about 10 minutes. Fish out the tea bags and chill. You can drink it this way (I like it this way myself) or if you really want a bit of sweet, a package of Splenda per glass. I promise it is really great with a glass of ice and a bit of lime mmmmmmm....

Good Morning Everyone!

It finally quit raining!! yahhhhhhhh!

Ive gotten my customers cushions all sewn up and stuffed. Now I just have to fraycheck the edges of the opening and sew them shut. I'll probably take them to work today and work on them there. Its a nice, sittin' and drinkin' coffee job

Im back op today, after being attacked by several sugar monsters. Wow, I can honestly say that my asthma gets MUCH worse when I eat sugar. Almost instantly! So.....you would think that would keep me away from the stuff eh? Whats a little bit of shortness of breath for a krispy kreme????? Well worth it .....at least I thought so yesterday

Anyone interested in a new challenge? Monthly? Anyone care to join me? If so, I'll set up a challenge thread tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great day

Angry Hey, where is everybody?

Robin - I'm game for a challenge. I was doing so good for a couple of months and been struggling the past couple weeks. I could live with where I am right now weight wise but know I'll feel better with at least another ten or so off. Still wishing for the 15-20 though! Unfortunately wishing isn't whooshing so a challenge may be just what I need!

I've been stuck in the office all day redoing all of the business templates! DS, Chad, downloaded something or other last night that we thought would let me convert them over.....NOT. So I'm a bit frazzled.

I know dinner tonight will be dh's (well, he's still sorta a shdh) usual wings and salad. I've been craving a huge cheeseburger all day but I just know I'd want that bun, so, forget it! (Nicole, if you're lurking, thinking about that Whopper almost did me in this afternoon!

Well, there's 39 views of the daily and only 4 posts.....hmmmm, sure wish you lurkers would at least wave at us!

Off to do make more templates!

I'm sorry I can not post more or offer much support these days, Janice. I am too busy being self absorbed. Perhaps instead of weight loss surgery maybe they could re wire my wiring!

Today I went shopping at target for new underwear. Wouldn't want to go into the hospital with the rag tags I have. I stood in front of all the hanes "just my size" and instead of sneaking around and opening bags I just bought the biggest size. THEN because I am trying protein shakes, which by the way, are AWFUL I was suddenly overcome with this overwhelming feeling to pass gas.

Is this too much info?

I think not.

So I ran kind of squiggly to the bathroom and jumped into the first stall. They are making stalls much smaller these days, wouldn't you agree?
I stayed there quite a long time....until the other occupants left the room.

You know, since I decided to have wls I have gained 30 pounds. I thought you were suppose to lose weight...what do I know I seem to have been in the grips of the last supper syndrome .....I hope I rise again soon because if I die laying on that table they are going to have to bury me in a piano box. Forget throwing in the boa...make it a mochafrappe thing...oh, that's right....I had my LAST one of those LAST week.

So, Sweet peas....I am a useless sack of ****, a ship without a sail. Sometime I think that August 11th can not come soon enough and other times I think....oh my. But as you sweet peas as my witness...I WILL NEVER WEAR UGLY UNDERWEAR AGAIN!

later
peach
oh look....we can say ****!!!!

Aw, Sue, you are so sweet. One of the original sweet peas and you certainly don't look 40 pounds heavier from where I sit.

Gosh, I did love that light bulb story....

Peachie! Don't be hard on yourself. You have made a very difficult decision to have WLS and that is an accomplishment in itself. It's a lifelong decision and you are committing to it. In my opinion, if you are loading up on carbs, that might be the problem! I don't feel as well, or as happy when I am overloading on them. My whole body changes for the better on low carb.

What kind of protein shakes are you drinking. Maybe I can help you think of ways to make them better!

Talking Our Sweet Peachie knows that I'm not afraid to say ****!

But Peachie, my dear friend, that definately does not describe you unless you've gotten a very dark tan, or bought some stinky cheep perfume! And PLEASE don't mention Christmas lights - not this time of year - cause if Chickadee is lurking it'll send her into a tail spin!

Peach - first of all - And I'll admit to you that tho I had lost some weight prior to my original surgery in October (the breast reduction), I put on quite a bit a weight before the other "stuff" in March. Maybe nerves? Last supper syndrome? Stress? Or just some good ol'food? I don't know! I think that bag of **** is the only thing that didn't go in my mouth during that 4.5 months! Hang in there my friend - you're a wonderful, caring, unselfish person who is very loved.

Oops-brb

Peachie, your doing ok.........and just think, after August 11th, you will have the nicest baggiest undies around!!! Maybe I shouldnt support your "last supper" syndrome.....but I think I would be the very same, and I fully understand why you are doing it.

So you feel like a bag of ****, you know exactly why you feel that way, and you know exactly how to fix it. So let up on yourself and enjoy it (for a bit longer) then get back to behaving, because soon your not going to have any choice. Im sure your sister will be on your behind about eating properly in a couple weeks.

Your going to be just fine

Hey Peachie, I love ya, light bulbs notwithstanding! Now, lie down on Dr. Goodforme's couch, and delve deep within your psyche. Feel yourself relaxing and opening up. Now, could you please stop torturing us: what color are those panties? I wish I had a good joke thread, but my puter crashed last week and I had to start from scratch. Bummer! However, I seem to remember a couple of good ones around here somewhere.

This has been an awful day. I have been at the police station, the judge's office, the courthouse, the hospital, and various and sundry other fun, FUN places (which is still better than work) with my sister. She's going through a divorce, so I guess it just reinforces my desire to stay single. It's a cruel world, ladies, you'd be surprised at some of the stories I heard today. Makes me glad to have good friends.

Hope you all have an action packed weekend planned, and hope also that everyone eats something nummy and sinfully bad for your diet. I'm going to have chocolate, I don't care who I have to slap to get to it. Talk to you tomorrow!

Aw, peachie even when you feel like a sack of **** (which you are NOT by the way) you still have the ability to make me laugh, with your gas story

I did a little of the last supper stuff myself, I think we all do. Enjoy it and forget about it.

As for the protein drinks (Jennifer do we have a throw up smiley ) I agree, yuck. The only one I like is the Nectar protein drink. I need to send you some.

Hey everyone else It's late, I'm off to bed.
