Default Ridiculous popcorn craving!

Alright my favorite food in the universe is popcorn and one of my favorite things to do is go to the movies. Been trying to avoid the theater because I know the popcorn smell might take me over the edge and a small bag just doesn't cut it for me. Been eating healthy and back on track for 2 weeks now(I know not a long time at all), all day today all I can think of is popcorn! Its driving me bonkers, I am not hungry as I've had plenty of food (Oatmeal:with raisins and green apple, snack:walnuts and lunch: turkey burger) but for some reason even knowing I'm full all I want to do is pig out! I need to loose 25 lbs in 88 days so I don't have time to get back on track if I get derailed. Decided to write this post instead of cooking a pot full of freshly popped delicious popcorn!

Why not just make enough for one serving and don't add butter or salt. Try pepper or garlic/onion powder.

My understanding regarding popcorn is that it's not the popcorn but the butter, salt, oil on it. Especially the movie theater popcorn.

There are a couple schools of thought: For some, there are some foods are trigger foods that just have to be banished because they can't be sensibly rationed. Or the flipside, ignoring a craving and white-knuckling it can result in a bigger, badder binge down the line.

Sometimes it's better to scratch the itch (with a small indulgence) so you can move on. (If it's a trigger food, though, then that's probably terrible advice.)
