Default busy crazy day.....

...and I did not eat enough? Never thought I would say that!

Between work and home obligations (daughter in dance recitals/rehearsals for the next week...out almost every night! UGH!!!) I was too busy to eat!

I know that is bad....I woke up late, had a 9 am meeting so skipped breakfast...bad Froufy......figured I'd grab something at work (have cheese in the fridge). Did have my coffee..but never got around to eating!

Lunchtime meant driving around for last minute dance supplies for tonight and film for video camera....had some leftover tuna fish salad and veggies (thank god leftover in fridge at work from yesterday's lunch) and 2 mozzarella cheese strings.

No time for snack.

Famished by the time I got home...knew they would have barbeque stuff at dance rehearsal...but decided I would take the time (which I didn't really have ) to eat at home...polished off 4 slices of bacon and 3 eggs.

My daily total is about 1000 cals, 10 carbs - The funny thing is I plugged it all into fitday and I get good totals which equal 62% fat, 35% protein and 4% carbs.....how neat is that!

(and I avoided smelling or touching the big bag of potato chips my husband brought to the rehearsal...which everyone munched on while sitting around)!!!

It's like that...somedays you'll think you're eating all wrong, but when you get down to the numbers, poof, it works.

By the way, did I ever say "Welcome" to the coop?

Default Thanks Dyan....

Glad to be hear, and thankful for everyone's help and input!

Just completed Day 6 of induction, and going strong. A bit hungry tho...but I can do this.

Just back from dinner out with hubby (Outback Steakhouse)...had grilled shrimp appetizer, followed by rib eye steak w/steamed veggies..and club soda w/lemon to drink! It is so exciting to be able to eat out (well too!) and still stay OP.

We stopped at the Starbucks after dinner, and I had a decaf coffee w/Cream.... (now I realize I will be in the bathroom half the night....what else is new!).

Hope this woe works....or else I'm in big trouble!!!

Sounds like you're doing everything right. Keep it up and you'll be slim in no time.

Talking I AM TRYING...BUT IT'S HARD!!

Finding that my mind is wandering now: to bananas and orange juice and grapes..and a toasted bagel slathered in butter. I guess I am still "craving" somewhat and it is is a bit distracting. I am determined to stick with it tho!

I did have a bit of a challenging day and went over carb limit but think I still did okay.

Had a family event to go to...was already feeling crappy before I went. Rumor had it that they were serving KFC (which I think was not too bad with the skin off, as I had checked on fitday to make sure).

No chicken tho...there was a platter of cold cuts and cheese (did they know I was coming?)...and a platter of cut up veggies and dip!! . I passed on the basket of buns and croissants and fruit. I did my best, but not sure about the cold cuts...so I threw in some carbs, as well as for the veggies (cauliflower, brocolli, celery and 2 cherry tomatoes)...the dip may had had some sugar and carbs so I counted some in there as well....so my total is over 20 grams (about 24 or so???).

I also had a glass of Diet Pepsi (GASP!!) w/aspartame which I am trynig to avoid, but figured one glass would not kill me.

AND I DID NOT HAVE ANY CAKE...NO BIG SLICE OF ICING TOPPED CAKE FOR ME...NO NO NO.....

Instead, I fed it to my son.....who enjoyed it, and you know what? I accidentally got some icing on my finger and automatically licked it off....AND IT TASTED YUCKY!!! too sweet and fake tasting...I didn't even want any more!! Yippeee

Drinking more water now to flush out those nasty carbs!
