Wanda, congrats on the loss this week. They say those last few pounds to goal are the hardest to lose and you did good this month by losing half of them. Keep up the good work and you will be a KOPS by the end of June.

Sherri...You have been a busy lady, lately, with the job, painting Megan's room and planning a camping trip. We used to go camping with our boys when they were growing up and it was a lot of fun. Sometimes, I think I would like to go again. But I don't know anyone that camps anymore to go with. It probably wouldn't be as much fun with just Jim and I. I would like to go to some of the national parks out west, but I think it would be easier to stay at the lodges. My hubby can't hike and do the things he used to do. (I got off the subject) Sounds like you are really enjoying your job and keeping busy is a good way to keep our mind off eating.

I'm back OP today. I don't know what happened yesterday, I wanted to eat all the wrong things. My neighbor had brought over some chocolate cake and I had ice cream in the freezer. That ice cream was 200 calories for 1/2 cup. It's good ice cream, but not worth that many calories. Our challenge this week for our "Survivor contest" was to try a new low calorie recipe. I tried making those meringue "cookies". I found a recipe with S.F. jello powder to be added to the egg white and made that. I made 34 for a calorie count of about 25 per meringue. Meringue is not one of my favorites, but the jello does help. I'll take the recipe in to the meeting tomorrow.
