Smile Newbie wanting new friends! :)

Hi everyone!

My name is Dawn and I'm a 45 year old mother of two girls (17 and 24). I tried Atkins in November and lost 15 pounds the first 2 weeks and then stopped losing for the next three weeks. I got frustrated and gave up. Regained 8 pounds. I started WW Online in January and have lost 26.5 pounds as of Friday. SO a total of 33 pounds since November.
I like WW and the wide variety of food choices. I am riding my recumbant bike 5-6 times a week. Exercise has always been an issue with me. I also have a heck of a time not eating like a mad woman at night. I hope to make a few friends here because we can all use some extra support!! Thanks for reading!!

Good morning Dawn. My name is Kim and I am a 41 yr old single mom of three boys (15, 10 & 8). I have struggled with weight for almost 15 yrs. Hit 315 before I even knew it, got down to 200 and have watched myself creep back up to 282. I too am a newbie and am hoping to find inspiration from people like yourself. Congrats for joining and good luck on your journey...

Hello Joy! (What a great name!)
Thank you for the welcome. Its good to know there are some people in my age group on the forum. Congrats on your weight loss. Some people dont realize how hard this journey can be sometimes. Its nice to talk to people who are living it!
Have a great day!!

Hello Kim!

Congrats to you for getting back on your way to healthier living!! I know how easy it is to put weight on when youre not paying attention to a healthy lifestyle. It's super hard to start over again so I am so proud of you!!! Im having a good mental day so far. I find when I am focused and in a good mood, it's so much easier to make good choices. Unfortunately, it's not always sunshine and rainbows. That's why I joined this forum. Maybe we can share rainbows!

This is my first posting at a site like this. I am 49 with 2 children, ages 6 and 9. I started the Ideal Protein diet a week ago today. I feel good, have lots of energy and have lost 4.9lbs so far. I am giving it 10 weeks. This is not my first diet and have been struggling my whole adult life with weight. I am hoping that by seeking on-line support this time will be different!
