So I am curious to know what your top 10 MUST HAVE SONGS are in your workout playlist I know I have mine and some of them haven't changed in years. So with that said here is mine:
I like Lady Gaga. But I'm weird, I like working out to showtunes. I am a theater major, but you'd think I'd like better songs to workout to. I do have some peppier tunes on my ipod, but I always go straight to the showtunes.
1. Let it Go - Dragonette
2. Until the End - Breaking Benjamin
3. Fairwell to the Fairground - White Lies
4. Bleed It Out - Linkin Park
5. Anything Could Happen - Ellie Goulding
6. Planetary GO! - My Chemical Romance
7. Little Tyrants - Anberlin
8. Clubfoot - Kasabian
9. This Close - Flyleaf
10. 99 Red Balloons - Goldfinger
You guys like good stuff!! I am so weird when it comes to music.. I like random everything. I have been known to workout to show tunes, ballads, country, metal, old school rap and occasionally classical. My boyfriend things I am nuts (he only listens to metal when he works out).. I have been a musician basically my whole life so I suppose that could explain things. My current go-to is definitely more pop though. haha It really depends on my mood though
I need to redo my Workout playlist after updating my iPod and accidently deleting it. (oops!)
I listen to country in the car and at work but am a total pop princess when I workout. I should be ashamed of the amount of Britney, Ke$ha, and Beyonce I had on there... and the Justin Timberlake *swoon*.
Avezy44- OT but I should be at the Color Run in Nashville too. Did you do the one this past October? It's a blast!
Oh, I like this thread! as a huge music nerd I spend a lot of time organizing my workout mix(es) and always looking for additions. My favorite workout music tends to skew in one of two directions- salsa/latin influenced or vaguely anger inducing (in that they get me heated up about something, and I take it out on the treadmill)
Dog Days are Over- Florence and the Machine
La Negra Tiene Tumbao- Celia Cruz
Holding out for a Hero- Frou Frou (also Let Go, by the same)
Home Sick Home- Guante
Harder to Breathe- Maroon 5
Chuchumbe- David Wax Museum (fun story, the lyrics of this song are resurrected from a version that was banned by the Catholic church in latin america hundreds of years ago- chuchumbe means bellybutton...)
We Didn't Start the Fire- Billy Joel
Big Yellow Taxi- (Counting Crows version)
Killa- TuNe-YaRdS (also Gangsta, which isn't about what you'd think)
KellinaKatrina I didn't know it existed until a few weeks ago! I saw an advertisement for it on Facebook and started an event page so my friends and I could do it as a team! I am super excited about it. I have a 20lb weightloss goal I want to meet before the race. We are planning on making tutu's to wear over our pants and tshirts. haha

If you're interested in getting the most color, go in the last group. In October they were very sparse with the color in the first couple of groups and then went crazy with all the left over in the last one. Make sure your mouth is shut too, it's funky tasting. haha
