Default New to 300+ but not to dieting

Hey everyone! My name is Jen and i am 33 and 337 lbs the last time I did a WI. I work with food all day long and I am struggling to make the food I prepare to be healthy and I am leaning towards vegan. I am also making a 90p day go at P90X starting next week. Anyone wanna join me and keep me on track. I am just gonna do what I can and work towards getting in shape! I really hope its ok to post a thread like this here...

I am really hoping to make friends here who understand that weighing over 300 lbs means trying to lose a whole person not just 5 extra lbs they gained over winter break or to get into that swimsuit in the summer like most of my friends in real life. Besides my boyfriend no one else in my life is supportive.

Seriously any tips anyone has I would love love love to hear them!

Hi FC - I am new here too and like you, have a person to shift from my person!
I have had a few glances over some of the posts and this seems to be quite a supportive site with people from all walks of life interacting on similar topics.
I have not yet started my new lifestyle change but I intend to shortly, for me its all about getting in the right frame of mind to start with.
I wish you all the best on your loss and hope we can help each other through this challenging but exciting time!

Cheers, Jen! There are loads of daily threads in different sections that you could join, if you like. Maybe in the exercise forum there is something specific to P90x?

Hah, I am working hard to incorporate more exercise, but P90x sounds extreme for me. I can barely do all the reps in the Gilad Express video someone recommended, but good luck! I will be interested to hear about your experience with P90x!

Hi again Fortune! I "met" you on another thread!

Join in any and all discussions you want, everyone is so nice on this site. I usually click on the "new posts" tab above and follow the most recent posts unless I am looking for something specifically.

This site is unreal with the helpful support and caring ways of the people here. I get more support from the ladies (and few men!) here than I do in real life. Now I don't even share my progress in real life (except with my husband obviously), I only share it here.

This site can change your life, please believe me! And post often, I look forward to "seeing" you around!!
