My dear sweet mother has been baking up a holiday storm! Cookies galore. Baked goods are a bigger temptation to me than candy. The smell of the warm dough, the first bite of a cookie straight from the oven.... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

BUT I AM COMMITTED!
I am committed to losing weight, getting healthier and not giving into temptation.
With that commitment, I have ignored the cookies. She has baked every day of December. Every. Single. Day.
But every day is a chance to prove that I am a changed person and my will power is stronger than my temptations.
I hope by this time next year, I'll be able to indulge in a cookie or two, but until I reach my goal, no cookies for this girl!

My turn: I declined an invite to a cookie exchange next week. Sit around piles of yummy cookies and not eat any? Why would I want to torture myself like that?! LOL

I have to brag this morning too! This morning my boyfriend gave me the once over and said he noticed a change! It's always nice when someone else notices! I know the scale says I have lost, but I haven't felt different yet, or looked different when I look in the mirror, so it was nice to hear!

So today I went to a Zumba class for the first time ever even though I was having all these negative thoughts as to why I shouldn't and it rocked!!!! I got over being self conscious pretty fast & had so much fun.
