Default Stomach aches

Does anyone have frequent stomach aches? I have noticed the last week or 2 that my stomach hurts after eating lunch & supper (more of a gassy hurt...sorry if TMI). Generally, it doesn't hurt in the morning or late evening. Any thoughts?

For lunch, I usually eat the following:
(1.) Enyzme right before eating
(2.) IP food item
(3.) Romaine lettuce with 1 c. cucumbers, 1 c. mushrooms, & some onion. My salad dressing includes...1 tsp EVOO + 1 tsp apple cider vinegar + 3 tsp WF Raspberry Vinigerette dressing + 1/4 tsp sea salt.

Supper is similar...
(1.) 7 oz chicken, and (2.) the same salad as above. I really like that salad!

Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Are you having anything with sugar alchohols in it? I found out the hard way that they give me an awful stomach ache.

Do you have your gallbladder? I cannot eat 2 cups of veggies at one time without taking medication to relieve the "gas." The first few days on this program I had it so bad, my back was killing me until I realized it was from all the veggies. I now take a Phazyme or a Beano meltaway prior to eating broccoli or cauliflower. Those two seem to be the ones that get me the worst.

It could be that you are (mildly?) intolerant to some food(s)... I never knew I had intolerance to soy protein until this diet. The first couple of days I had diarrhea and gas, but not after each meal - only after the ones that have soy protein in them. After I figured that out, I am now eating only non-soy ones and have been fine.

Gasiness, if excessive, basically means the food is not "agreeing" with you. I don't know why that is, but I believe that's true and everyone reacts differently to different foods. Try to investigate the ingredients in each meal and keep noting in your journal how your intestines responded to each meal. I think you'll find the culprit much sooner than you think.

Thanks so much everyone!

Tonight, I did eliminate the WF dressing from supper (with the sucrolose it contains). My stomach still hurts...but that may still be from lunch.

This is so odd...I'm in my 8th week, and haven't changed the foods that I eat. I do still have my gall bladder. I guess we'll see how the next couple of days go with WF first. Thanks again!

Probably another TMI question, but have you been "going" ok, or do you think it might be C? Sometimes when my guts are moving things through slower (I have hypothyroidism so sometimes my bowels go in slo-mo) I get that heaviness in my guts and sometimes gas discomfort to go with it, almost always later in the day. On a few occasions before IP it was so bad I had to sleep on my stomach just to get comfortable.

Good question...(not TMI!). Anyway, I am still pretty regular. I think those spinach shakes help me with that (I haven't had one of those shakes since this past weekend though).

I'll try to check those ingredients. Maybe its just all of the raw veggies I eat. (But I did eat a lot of raw veggies before this program...primarily carrots & tomatos though!)
