Default Anyone lost weight with similar measurements?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone with similar measurements to me could post what their measurements were after they lost some weight. I've been overweight my entire life and have nothing to compare to, and I know everyone loses weight differently but it might give me an idea.

I'm 21, 5'7", 180lbs and my measurements are 44-36-44. I want to get down to around 132lbs.

I'm close to height and weight. I measured myself when I was 180. I've dropped a bit this past week.

Anyway, my measurements were 41-33-42 when I was 180 a couple weeks ago and I'm 5'6.5" and 42 years old.

Is there a reason you chose 132? A past weight? a random number? for now I would concentrate on your eating - getting it in order and increasing your fitness.. gaining muscle will make you smaller too.

And remember, we're all built differently!

I'm a tad shorter than you and started much heavier. I'm 5'6" and am now 163, my measurements on the 1st of the month (I was 168 that day) were 38-29.5-39. I'm obviously not at my goal yet, and I can look, when I get home, what my measurements were at close to 180, if that would help at all.

Yes, everyone is different, but I'm a numbers driven person, so I can understand the need for comparisons.

I chose 132 as a random number, I'm not too bothered where I end exactly up as long as I feel and look healthy I've lost 33lbs so far, but unfortunately I didn't take beginning measurements.

LockItUp, if you could find your 180 measurements, that would be appreciated.

I'm just curious as to how everyone's weight drops off. After looking at some other people's results, it seems they lost a few inches off their chest and hips and a lot off their waist - but they usually have very different measurement ratios to me so I'd like to see how people with a similar body shape have dropped the weight.

I have lost the most from my waist, this is true. And, interestingly, it is still where I need to lose the most too.

I'm 26 and at 180, at the beginning of this year I was about 41-31.5-39. In fairness at this point I'd been maintaining around 180 for 9 months. When I first got to the low 180s in April 2011, I was an inch to an inch-and-a-half bigger in each of those measurements so maybe something like 42-33-40, if I recall correctly. So I did shrink a little even staying at the same weight as my body settled into that weight a bit.

Right now at 155ish, I'm 36.5-28.5-37. Hope this helps even though our measurements aren't exactly identical! Stay encouraged and know every little bit will make a difference!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post this! At 179 I was 38.5-32.5-40.

I take measurements once a month in many spots (upper arm, mid arm, neck, thigh, calves, you name it).

I am with Berry on the tummy. I have lost almost 12 inches off my belly from 212 to now (I didn't take measurements at my heaviest), and I still have many inches to lose off my belly too.

I don't know how helpful this will be for you, but when I was ~166lbs my measurements were almost identical to what LockItUp listed. At ~130lbs now, my measurements are 35-25-36... my underbust is actually ~29", but I kept a good amount of boobage through weightloss.

I am 5'8.5
180

38-30-38 (i JUST took this measurement 2 secs ago bc i realized i had no idea). mind you i've had 2 meals today, and my waist is usually a 29 hahah

edit: underbust is 34ish, thighs are 22ish

I am 24.

BUT given your measurements, i can tell you that you definitely have inches to lose unless you currently work out lots!

measurements are:
Chest 38
Waist (at belly button) 31
Hip (widest part) 44
