Hey Everyone!
I have not posted in a while - been so busy!
The good news - I have been 99% OP (I slipped up once & jumped right back on) & am down just about 20 pounds & 24 inches in a month. I could not be happier with my results!
The not great news - I was not 100% OP in my first month and did slip up this past week. I was away on business and only took enough packs for one day, as opposed to the two days that I was away. It was a stupid mistake and I had no choice but to eat regular food. I called my clinic on the way home and was in there first thing the morning following _ I did not gain weight but my body fat percentage was up and they were rather certain that I was out of ketosis. I am at peace with it and was proud that I jumped right back in; HOWEVER - since then I have been starving & soooo tempted to eat off plan. I think my slip up combined with the fact that my centre is selling food by the box now (they were selling individual packs until last week) has made me both physically tempted and mentally 'bored'. The physical I am controlling … I think…. but mentally, holy it's hard to eat the same stuff ALLL the time. There is no way I can afford to buy a tons of stuff so its been the same three pack every day…
I am genuinely scared that I am going to fall off the IP wagon here …

DON'T DO IT!!!! HANG IN THERE!!!! You will feel worse if you fall off, and think of how proud you will be of yourself for pushing through this. When the going gets tough, the tough get going girl!!! Come on, did deep and find that strength I know you have!!! How do I know? Look at what you've already done!!! Don't regret anything. You are doing sooo well and have come soooo far to stop now!!!

I would seriously ask your centre why they switched to selling by the box when they were selling individual packets before? Maybe if you could explain your story they would reconsider. Or you could find another clinic! Is there another clinic close to you?

I am in Alberta and apparently head office told them that they have to sell it by the box because the packs don't have nutritional information on them, which I get BUT at the same time I would never have joined if it was this was a month ago. It's hard, really really hard and I know that my clinic will not do anything about it …. they barely coach, little alone care!

Time to stop paying them for nothing and find another clinic!! I can't believe they can remain open with that kind of terrible service. Are you in the city?

If I were to switch clinics will I have to pay to join again though? There is another clinic in town that it not affiliated.
When I asked if they considered attaching print outs of the nutrition information to individual packs as opposed to making us eat the same stuff over and over the response was "no, too much ink". As if the food is not expensive enough to cover the cost of a bit of ink…

I know it's expensive, but what I did was buy 3 weeks worth of boxes so that I have variety every day. Maybe that's not a viable option finacially for you, but you could consider that.

Unfortunately the shipping is expensive from the Protein Shop to canada and you still have to buy complete boxes from them.
You shouldn't have to pay to register again at another clinic if there is not a gap in time. But if one clinic was told they had to sell complete boxes they likely all will have the same message.
Are you in the north or south of the province? there are quite a few clinics in the Edmonton area.

Northern Alberta but hours away from Edmonton. There are two different gigs in town but they are not affiliated. I am assuming they both have been asked to switch to the boxes.
