I'm not new but haven't posted in years I don't think but am now in drastic need to sort my weight out... My confidence is at an all time low and I really want to feel young and sexy and healthy again. So in a moment of depressive madness I signed up for Diet Chef. Of course the minute I did so lots of nay-sayer friends came to the fore telling me how rubbish it is and how it won't help etc. But I'm ignoring them... Only time will tell I suppose but I am determined to build some healthy eating habits and shape up!
Hi MOM. Welcome back. I cant really say I know much about this diet chef thibg, but if it gets you into healthier eating and portion sizes then go for it. Don't let other people get dowb on you just because it didnt work for them. Everyone's different, and if its considered healthy then what's the problem?! Good luck xxx
It's not something I'd choose, because I simply wouldn't have the resolve to stick to it, but that doesn't mean I don't believe it'll work for people who can stick to the menus. I'm well lazy, so the idea of having all your meals made for you and just having to heat them up (or at least that's how the ad makes it look?) really appeals to me!
Please keep us up to date how it goes, and what you get on the menu!
If you feel like straying come and post in here instead and someone will be around to help you just say no!
A girl at the place I work lost so much weight on Diet Chef, we were all amazed, it just seemed to melt off her! She exercised a lot too though, cycled to work and did Zumba. It really can work if you stick to it, be careful when you come off it though
Thanks all... First day down and it's gone well so far. For me it's less about the calorie control and more about getting myself into the habit of eating regular, well portioned meals...
I've eaten all I was allowed to and have not been hungry at all. I did miss my evening glass of wine but I think that's just a habit I need to get out of anyway so I'll live.
