What are some of the songs that motivate you to work just that little bit harder. I would of posted this in the 'off topic' part.. But I think being 300+ we really need everything that can and will help us get motivated. That's why I posted it here.

One of the songs that most motivate me is called

"Get Me Out." By Crystal Bowersox I feel like I really relate to that song right now and it makes me want to work out and get myself better to where I dont feel that.

There's not a really clear version because it was just released on her EP a couple days ago (I was privileged to be able to received the EP awhile back because my friend went to the concert she handed them out at.) I had to wait till her EP was relased to be able to post these lyrics.. LOL

Even though this song is about a relationship, I also think about it as loving myself, and being strong in my commitment to get healthy.

I am of a certain age....OK I am 45..... and Madonna's music has been around most of my life! I am gradually upping my walking mileage and have so far made it from less that half a mile 2 months ago to 3.3 miles today.....all in the company of my awesome golden retriever and Madonna!! Gotta say that Ray of Light is blinking fast to walk to though!!!
Have the next month planned out to get up to 5 miles then I am off to tackle a few Welsh hills (in the rain of course) in the Brecon Beacons!!
