Default Outback Steak House HELP!

My wonderful, terrific, great 11 year old son has just made the honor roll and my husband and I are taking him to a "honor roll dinner out" - his choice of restaurant.

He has choosen the new Outback Steak House restaurant and I managed to talk him out of a Wednesday dinner (I had to sit him down and explain WHY I didn't want to eat out at an unfamiliar restaurant the day before I weigh-in - LOL!). We are eating out after I weigh in on Thursday - phew!

I have always had tons of help in the past from the folks on this site and hope someone can suggest a ww friendly dinner there (will be forgoing appetizer, alcohol and desert).

Thanks in advance!

Eve

Very helpful. Thank you. I knew someone could help. It was a little depressing (everything is so high in points!). I am committing to the Victoria Fillet (11) Potato Crisps (6) and house salad with low-fat dressing.

Many thanks again.

Default Outback Steakhouse

Eve,

Make sure you ask for your dressing on the side because they really pour it on.

I too eat at the Outback. I like the Shrimp and Veggie Griller. Dottie only has the Chicken and Steak ones on her listing. I would take a couple of points off since shrimp is less points. Also tell them you don't want cheese on your salad because they pile that on too. Mostly enjoy. It's not every day your child makes honor roll. Congrats to him!

You are all lifesavers. I would have never known about the cheese and I would have assumed that the dressing comes on the side - and today is the day.

Thanks all!

The Outback near us does great grilled vegetables, and they will fix them with a minimum of oil or butter - I usually get a double order of veggies and grilled chicken.

Congratulations to your son!
