Default Jiggly

I finally got the guts to talk to my SO about my fears with loose skin and bagging following a significant weight loss. I've lost 50+ pounds (never have gotten on a scale). He told me that he didn't feel like that would happen for me as I'd already lost significant weight and have yet to have loose skin. I still have at least 70 more pounds to go before I reach my goal weight.

There have been points along my weight loss where I have felt more "jiggly"....mostly in my belly and some on my thighs. After a while, it goes away, and then will return.

I'm wondering if my "jiggly" period is my fat shrinking away from my skin and the non jiggly period is my skin catching up.

I'm 37.

Anyone have any insight or is this just my wishful thinking that my skin won't be loose when I reach my goal?

I think skin elasticity is largely genetic. I've lost 50+ pounds three times in my life and have gone through two full-term pregnancies, but have no loose skin or stretch marks at age 55. I guess you'll have to wait and see, but it's not a foregone conclusion that you'll have loose skin.
