I finally understood how to eat, what I usually eat, to maintain my weight. I use to overeat and gain or just eat too much, as I am a little bit of a binge eater, and now I really want to start eating healthier.
I don't really cook at home. I live with my mother and sister, for the time being, and they will more than likely cook something big over the weekend to eat during the week or they make dinner. I do cook when I am hungry though. I have been very interested in Asian foods and recipes because they are very healthy and look good.
The problem is I don't really know how to bring it up to everyone in my household. We don't carry many recipes and the ones we do have are very..unhealthy. I usually don't partake in what is bought at the grocery store and food can be expensive, we have to definitely budget. I'm just apprehensive to say anything

.
I have not yet looked up healthier recipes I am just wondering if anyone else is trying to change their habits from not healthy to healthier eating habits when other members in your household do not eat as such? I find it hard even saying no to the food being offered because it's almost a waste to NOT eat it with our budget. Has anyone else had this discussing with family/roommates/etc? Any advice on where I should start?
Oh! I am also a full time student, at the moment, and so I don't contribute to the money that goes into food. I just want to not waste food, if I cook it wrong, because of the budget, but at least be able to attept to do so at the same time. Is it too much to ask?
