Default Drink your water, girls!

Just wanted to throw a word of advice that saved me from going mental about my weight these days. So I saw no progress for a bit, felt like "What am I doing wrong?"

Yesterday I made myself drink my 2.5L of water.

Lost 3 cm off my waist this morning, and all of the water I've retained over the week is slowly melting off! Realized that I've probably dehydrated my body so much during weight loss and didn't replenish it, that it was clinging to it for dear life.

Now I get why it's so important that you drink your fluids.

I get that too, I seem to lose more weight when I'm drinking lots of water (especially when I'm drinking it in the morning)

It's funny, I am always so thirsty when I am losing weight that I never have any trouble getting my water in. I have to drink lots of water because I feel parched all day without it!

So when I see a correlation between between drinking lots of water and either having a whoosh or feeling trimmer, I tend to think the causation works the other way. I don't think "yay, drinking water caused a whoosh!" Instead, I tend to think "yay, whatever biological processes were going on that caused the whoosh led to me being thirsty and drinking lots of water!"
