Had a great Friday. Had a long planning session and as I was greeting people I appreciated all the "wow you look great" comments, not something a guy really thinks about I guess, but was nice that the weight loss was noticeable. The guy that inspired me to start IP came in and the comments and interest was fun to listen to, combined we've lost about 180lbs, but he's lost the most around 140lbs. Since I put together the menu for them it was fairly healthy, Subway, veggies/fruit, but we had our shake/bar and veggies. Took a bit of razzing about our padded coolers, but it was also very supportive group. Sure made what could have been a stressful meeting very easy and fun.

Good for you! I am taking a "padded" lunchbox to a wedding next weekend as I don't know what they are serving. This is so doable if we plan ahead!

Today is World CArdmaking DAy so I am going to be in my craft room stamping and cutting paper and having fun. I gotta keep those fingers busy! I am sending a VIRTUAL card to each of my IP friends on here to KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! lol

Good morning. It just chilly overnight and we're finally in Fall weather! I'm off to WI right now...I'll check in later. I'm hoping for at least 2 pounds.

Jellymae and Grkchick99 .Hope you have a great weekend on IP. Hooray for weekends!

Y Guy..How nice that your c0-workers noticed your loss and are supportive of eating differently. I joined IP also because of a girl at work who lost on IP.

SandyH Enjoy your stamping day! It is a wonderful thing to do as the results are so beautiful. One of my friends keeps us supplied with her cards.

Stolaf..Hope your WI goes well today. Because of the cold I had to change from a capri WI to wearing long pants. I am sure that made a difference..ha ha.

NSV..So my wedding ring falls off my finger onto the floor at work. I decided that this was indeed a sign for me to get rid of my silver cheaper ring (purchased because I gained weight) and to look for my old gold ring. The gold ring fit for the first time in 10 years. It is special because my husband and I bought new wedding rings in Italy because we could not afford gold ones when we got married.

My son is coming today from Seattle for a visit. I am going to let him make his favorite fish tacos!

Good morning!! Getting ready to head out to the farmers market here :-) We're just about out of raw honey and with all the cooking I do I really go through the stuff! I have my bar in my purse (it's FINALLY cool enough in FL that it won't melt) and veggies cut up so that if we're out later than expected I have a back up.

Heading to a church potluck this afternoon. Thankfully it's at kind of a strange time between lunch and dinner so I'm planning on bringing a veggie tray in case I'm really tempted but not to worried about it.

Good luck to everyone!!

Goodmorning all. Sitting here enjoying a very great cup of coffee with an IP vanilla RTD for creamer-warm and yummy. I am in a small town in Northest Montana this weekend providing Emergency Room coverage. Hopefully will be busy today and slow down so I can sleep tonight(the best of both worlds). I haven' been called in since 9 last night so that is nice. Looks like a great day to take a long walk today. Weather is going to be perfect. Loving maintenance. Have a great day!

My big day? Back to P1 after 2 mos on maintenance and off to SAM's for paper products and P1 supplies (meats- spinach- mushrooms- etc). Lazy, rainy day here in PA.

Congrats on the wedding ring Maile! I am able to finally wear mine again too and my husband is glad since now men are actually checking me out!

I have a rant this morning. I am one of those cooks that doesn't use recipes. I just add a little of this and a little of that and *taste*. Well, of course since this diet started, tasting is out except for my own food which is so simple it doesn't require tasting. Just made jam this morning and have no idea if it's sweet enough but I know I put enough sugar in that one lick would send me right out of ketosis.
