I got called into work last night since the usual guard is off sick. Glad to have the extra hours though, I just paid a total of $762.04 for my bumper to be repaired! Grrrrr.....
So here I sit with a quick 8 hours on my hands and I get to start the daily!

Oh wouldn't I love to spend the day at walmart!! I'll be right there!! However I live only about an hour from Tazcat and we are having a freezing rain storm today so I doubt I will get as far as the mailbox.
I had a bit of good news yesterday. First my sugars are better and I've earned another couple of weeks grace from my meds. Second my scale is wrong and I am actually 4 lbs lighter than I thought. Not sure which made me happier.
Debbie I had my wisdom tooth removed about 5 years ago because of an infection and it wasn't too bad for me. However, the surgeon informed me that I sang throughout the whole procedure so I am sure it was memorable for him!!
Must go start baking muffins for all of my little ones.

I know my posts have been sporadic but lately I have just been totally consumed with ME. It's kind of weird and takes some getting used to. Second day on meridia and I will get the wellbutrin today and start it tomorrow. My plan for today is to eat sanely and drink 64 oz of water. That"s it. Lunch with the girls....been missing my estrogen posse!

Morning all,
I am going to get yet another computer for the den, it's one that I did have in the bedroom before it died. (then I had to bring this antique one out again) Anyway when the "geeks on call" came out they found out that the e-machine was in great shape hardware wise, but was totally contaminated with viruses (many many) so he took it home with him to clean it us, and he's bring it back this morning. I will put it in the den so I can get on it every night like I did with my laptop, and maybe I won't miss out on so much. I feel like a newbie, cause I don't know what's going on with everyone right now.
Sorry about the bad weather some of you are having. We did have a few day of cold, but it's over now.
I had an aunt die Wed. morning, she had a aenurysm (sp) in the brain, it was quite sudden and has left everyone in shock. She was my mom's sister, but married to my dads BIL so that means that everyone of my relatives was at the funeral home last night. got to see and talk to lots of people I haven't seen in a while, but wish it was under different situations.
I have been horrible with my eatng this month, can I forget the whole month of January and start my year with Feb? And I had such good intentions!!!
Well. I'm going to try to read a lot of the back posts I've missed and see what all's going on with you. Maybe this will be the last major computer crisis I have for a while.
Just a quick Hi. Have a headache this a.m. - unusual for me - so am taking tylenol and coffee to cure it. I did not make it to town for veggies and stuff yesterday so today a trip is a must as I have to make a huge fruit salad for tomorrow's breakfast meeting. I'll pop in later. Be good!

Well, older DD went on a trip with her friend to some lodge that is an indoor waterpark--she left yesterday and won't be back until tommorrow night--so--Little Miss Tori and I have a big day planned-after the Doctor we will be shopping--then the mall to play--then lunch--(yeah) then tonight her grandparents wnat her to stay with them all by herself--(usually she has big sis with her)--poor kid has got a cold--hope she can handle all the excitement!

Barb g. I'm so sorry to hear about your Aunt. My aunt is in ICU presently. She had an aneurysm a couple weeks ago but was lucky and so far has survived. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Gloomy here today but supposed to be sunny and 60 this weekend!!! Yea!! Have been totally useless in the weight loss department. Have consistently exercised but eating terrible....

Im feeling a bit more human today and Im going to attempt to go to work today....keep hubby company for a few hours. Its a long day today for him if he goes in by himself. We are open til 7 tonight. Besides I miss him!!
Debbie, I'll go!! I love the super walmart....the closest one to me is an hour and half drive !! Buffalo is still a big Kmart town. I have to go to Niagara Falls just to visit a regular walmart!

Not much else happening around here, uneventful, just the way I like it lol
Quick question as I clean up fingerpaint all over my walls (kids thought purple looked better than my yellow!)- we are going out to dinner tonight and I am certain I will be eating something not low carb. Will I loose ketosis after one meal or will I just get the sugar cravings back. I don't know the hostess well enough to explain my diet and I don't want to be rude and not eat.

Hey guys! Thanks for the prayers re: my chest x ray and ab sono - everything is fine, no problems whatsoever!! Whoo hoo! Also had my consult for Lasik surgery (see my lasik post) and I have set a date of 2/21. I'm gonna do it!!
Weighed myself this morning. Still at 147, however I have lost 1.25" from my waist and 1" from my hips since January 6. This is totally from working out and I'm sure I've added muscle weight, which is why the scale hasn't moved.
And, tomorrow night I have a date with a guy I really like! Yeah!
We have rain but the temp is up to 38 degrees, PTL, and on Monday it is going to be 53!
Robin: glad you are feeling better.
Tammy Fancy: if you are going out, it is relatively easy to eat low carb. But, if you do cheat, you will probably go out of ketosis for a day or so.
